A Swedish Gem

We have stayed at this charming family run hotel many times and will certainly come back. Location in the centre of the ancient village of Tällberg is beautiful and very convenient for exploring and enjoying lovely views and historical buildings by lake Siljan.

Beautiful location in Dalarna. We spent all our time touring the quaint little towns and the Dala Horses being carved and painted in Nusnas, went to Mora and toured the Zorn Museum. We enjoyed fine dining at Akerblads. The service was fantastic just wished we had time to enjoy the spa.

Amazing spa with pool and sauna. Extremely cozy hotel atmosphere and plenty of fireplaces. Food is very good as well. We had the char and as a starter a great roe on toast.

The rooms are old, furniture was worn out, but gave anyway a nice and cozy feeling overall. The bathroom though really needed an upgrade door was difficult to close, shower would wet the whole room, and toilet was loud and gave off some smell, if it hadn't been flushed in a few hours. The outside pool was very nice, but the ones downstairs didn't feel inviting at all. Dinner service was very slow and the food didn't live up to the pricepoint. Probably wouldn't go back.
