The parking lot smelled sewage because of a broken sewer cap. The room smelled very musty but was clean. The staff was not very welcoming & the morning staff was rude.

Clean Facility with great breakfast

Very nice facility located near the highway. The room was clean, quiet and the breakfast was very good. We chose this location because it was approximately half way between Tuscaloosa and our home in SW Florida.

Upon my arrival the room assigned to me smelled like mildew. I spoke with the Office manager and was moved to another room. The replacement room was up to par. The breakfast and breakfast area was great.

There was a roach and spider in our bed room on the last day in the morning before checking out. Our room before we got moved was having water issues where the shower head was spraying into the ceiling uncontrollably. Once moved we experienced yet more water issues with water going through the door frame and pooling in the corner of the door frame. When trying to check out, the front desk lady was on her personal phone and greeted us with “what do you want?” We called the Choice hotels customer service line to file a complaint with the hotel and are still waiting to hear back from the hotel a week later.
