The house is tucked away from the main road making it quiet. It's about 15 minutes from downtown Talkeetna so if you go there you'll need to find a place to park. The house itself was ideal for our family of 4. The porch is inviting and comfortable. We saw a couple of bald eagles while sitting out there. There is a binder with local attractions and the house rules and procedures. My only issue is that the binder didn't match the directions sent via text/email for a couple of things. It was a moot point in our case but there should be symmetry with the check out time among all sources. Also, the trash policy was unclear in situations where the transfer station is closed, which we encountered as we checked out on a Sunday. We ended up hauling our trash with us for a while until we were able to find a place to throw it out.
