The Moracea Hotel is like no other in Khao lak,its set on a stunning beach with a beautiful collection of pools. The staff are the best ive ever known anywhere in the world as they ensure you are having a great experience and always have time for a chat .This hotel stands out amongst the rest ,There arent any negatives whatsoever and we will definately be back .Thankyou for making our stay so special Moracea

Ideal for quite holiday for couples who want to relax. Resort is very hilly so be mindfull if you have mobility issues. However hotel staff very helpful with sending a buggy to get uou ftom your accommodation to reception. We stayed in beach bungalow wich was easly walking to restaurant . Staff very helpful and bungalows very nice with amazing view.

Our room was spacious and spotless. We booked a pool access room, it was lovely to be able to swim directly from our balcony. The resort is on a steep hill and access to the rooms is via steps so this resort may not be suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. The grounds are immaculate and the beach is fabulous, probably the best stretch of the beach is right in front of the resort. The only negatives are the reserving of sunbeds. There are signs to say reserving of sunbeds is not permitted and towels will be removed. This does not deter people and the towels are not removed so if you like a lie in you will likely struggle to get a bed near the beach. Mosquitoes are quite a big problem. I got more bites in 4 hours than I did in 6 days in practically jungle accommodation prior to staying at Moracea. Plantpots full of stagnant water are a breeding ground for mosquitoes and you can see them in all stages of their growth. All in all we really enjoyed our stay. Khao Lak is a strange resort. The shops and restaurants etc are either side of 6 lanes of traffic. There is a great night market not far away and 200 thbt will get you there from the hotel

Sensational resort, amazing beaches, felt small and quiet but was quite large. Close walk to small town with loads of eating options, near to a small jungle Hike to the most perfect small beach. Rooms great, staff great. The only small downside is the main restaurant, a few dining options would have been nice on an evening but a £4 tuk tuk takes you to some great eateries. I’d return in an heartbeat and I’ve been to Thailand a good few times and this is one of the best hotels you could stay in. Loads of lizards around, and water monitors, they leave you alone but all adds to the vibe

Great hotel with lovely staff. We were lucky enough to have a great deal on a pool villa, which was amazing and highly recommend. Beautiful view of beach. Great breakfast. Beautiful beach right on the doorstep. Only small negative was beach bars were never open when they were advertised to be. Found it difficult to buy drinks when we wanted. Lots of free water around. Great to walk to shops and restaurants. Staff wonderful.

Great hotel. Nice staff , the reception has a great team very nice and helpful . I liked the location, it's not the best but also not bad, It's not to far from shops and a short ride to the market. the room was big and convenient, very clean, there wasn't a bath but I liked the room very much and had a great view from it! I liked the pools and spent most of my time in them. I wish they had water sports like canoe or paddle boards or something like that but even though it was a great stay! I think it's one of the best hotels in Khao Lak!

We were here for 4 nights, starting our southern Thailand trip (couple in 30s) in the best way. Never experienced this level of service. Everything was just amazing. Great pools, private beach, good food if you cant bother the 10 min walk down the road (maybe bit more pricey but worth the view). Such a wonderful staff. Great gym and room was much more spacius than we thought. At last - free muay thai activity for beginners was really good. Big Thanks to the trainer Kim and his trainees from the resort. 🙏

Hotel location is brilliant, probably the nicest beach in Khao Lak. Our room was a seafront bungalow, which was awesome. Food & drinks are good and prices are not much different from the restaurant in the neighborhood. Pool staff needs to be more on the ball, helping people with the loungers and umbrellas, cleaning pool and beach. Some issues with smell from septic tanks in one area due to heavy rain in the beginning. Was sorted out quickly.

We stayed in a beachfront bungalow. Amazing. We were made to feel special from the very beginning. Check-in was fast, and the room was spectacular. Big bathroom with big shower and bath. Nicely decorated and 20m from the water. Comfy bed, good food options or take a 100 Tuk tuk to town where there’s plenty of dining options.

Nice clean hotel

Originally only going to stay 2 nights, but ended up staying 7 nights. Didn’t like the hills up and down, I think it’s around 33 hectares. Breakfast was ok could have had a lot more selection. Room was nice with mosquito nets to keep them out at night.
