Everything wonderful, the room with traditional tatami, the staff always kind and ready to help, the onsens both the public and the private one that can be booked and all the little things the establishment provides for improving your experience there. We stayed here and it was the perfect place for our takayama visit. It was a very comfortable place, and well appointed. Service was amazing from the moment we arrived. The onsen/bath was nice and the location was great. Hiro gave us a great dinner recommendation…might have been the best meal of our trip.. we hope to return soon!

First time in a Ryokan and the experience was excellent. We were unsure about sleeping on futons on a matted floor but it was surprisingly comfortable. I thought the onsen was excellent. Very well maintained and the water and the pool were fantastic.

A great opportunity to experience a Japanese royokan with great service and location. You must take the Japanese breakfast which was out of this world and different each day. Great location to see Takayama and close to station.

Clean and spacious room. Location was very convenient as it's close to the bus station and restaurants. It was snowing and the staff let us borrow snow boots so we can walk outside. Facilities were clean and the onsen was relaxing.
