This hotel felt luxe with spacious rooms and is conveniently located right in the center of Takayama, next to the JR and bus stop. The staff were very friendly and the onsen was gorgeous.

This place was perfect in every way. Amazing staff and amenities, the breakfast was wonderful, and the location was perfect. I would live there if I could. My advice: splurge for the private bath (by splurge, I mean 2000 yen) - totally worth it. 6 out of 5 stars!!!

Lovely hotel. Very nice inside. Well located to the bus station and train station. Was very peaceful. Very nice room and bathroom. We paid for use of the private onsen (there is a free public onsen also available) - the private onsen was reasonably priced and it was really nice and well worth it.
