A nice 3-day stay. Now don’t expect it to be 5 star elite hotel, a little run down actually, but I am looking for good night sleep, walking distance to Takamatsu train station and port, plus airport limousine. Helpful staffs, clean room. Plenty of restaurants and convenience store. What do I complain about. We had good time visiting city attractions and shodoahima. I enjoy the stay very much.

Room was a good size, but in need of renovation. Staff were excellent and very helpful. Great location, only five min walk to Takamatsu station. Free washer and dryer on first floor- you just had to pay for laundry detergent. Would definitely recommend as a good budget friendly accommodation.

The staff was friendly and great service. Breakfast buffet was mainly traditional Japanese and was excellent. The room was a little tired with some peeling wallpaper and it smelled of smoke when I first arrived (non-smoking room). The cleaning service was good and we received fresh towels every day. The location was perfect for the conference.

Clean and quiet hotel not too far away from the main train station. We travelled as a group so we got to see western and traditional style rooms. I accidentally booked a smoking room. I didn’t want to go through the ordeal of changing the room. It was the first hotel I’d stayed at in Japan where I could open the window. It was a lovely breeze. Problem solved. This is basic hotel room. Ensuite great, deep bath. Plenty of hot water. Can’t complain. This place is close to the train, port, Takamatsu shrine, museum and it has some great architecture by the best KENZO. check the Takamatsu Prefecture Gov building. It’s fantastic.

Clean, polite staff, the basics like washing machine are there BUT...be warned that there is no aircon in the room (at least when I was there) and the aircon wasnset to warm only, the cold air permission was locked. I had to open the wondow for 30 minutes to let cold air into the room, otherwise it was going to be hot and stuffy. It's unfortunate this single issue really prevents this place from being a 4 or 5-star review from me. Also, it's old style lock and key, no card. Have to lock yourself when going out.

The room was clean and comfortable with helpful staff but the hotel lobby, unlike all others, was cramped with few places to sit. Decor is dated and the lift rather like a cosy cupboard fit for two.
