Well maintained property, close to Tairua town. The one bedroom unit had all amenities needed for a 3 night stay. Owner is friendly and communicative. We also got to use the bikes for free and I believe t hey also let you use kayaks for free.

Loved the outlook to the beach. The bed was fantastic. Great to have Sky TV. Walking distance to the surf beach. Great proximity to the Old Mill Cafe. The unit could have been cleaner - the outside of the fridge was dirty, toilet wasn’t properly cleaned, vanity sink not properly cleaned. Unusually the policy included washing our own dishes or being charged extra. Could not get hold of anyone to try and check in an hour early. Not a big deal, but would have appreciated a call back. We would stay there again but specifically state that the cleaning needed attention.
