Great hotel although somewhat old and somewhat dated. It is very well located and base several dinning options which make it very convenient. The staff and the service are super high class. The pool is also very impressive as it is located in the top floor with an incredible 360 degree view in all directions.

English speaking travelers will feel very comfortable and cared for in this hotel. The staff is genuinely hospitable and accommodating. A special thank you to Sing, the lifeguard on duty at the rooftop pool, (a hidden gem of a view of the city) who not only gave us a great recommendation for dinner at Chez Yeh, on our last night in Taipei but personally made a call to make a reservation for us. The entire hotel was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable. The daily fruit platter in our room hit the spot every time. The breakfast buffet was great. The staff were very nice and friendly. The views from the rooftop pool were beautiful. We had a great time and can’t wait to go back.

Absolutely great experience. The only thing we would give advice to future guests is to look into the “meal plans” from our experience if you don’t purchase them in advance you aren’t allowed to dine at most of the restaurants. Other than that the staff, rooms and facilities are wonderful!
