Easily accessible from Taipei main station. Area is also quiet but close enough to main attractions, especially Ximending. Easy check in process with friendly staff. Some complimentary snacks and coffee/tea at the hotel reception area. Room was spacious with all the basic necessities.

We booked a 3-night stay here in JAN2026. It's centrally located and about a 10min walk to the Airport MRT and Taipei Main stations. The staff were awesome and spoke both English and Japanese. Having the lounge stocked up with snacks and drinks was very nice too. The only complaint that we had was that the walls were thin so we were subjected to noisy neighbours on the first night. Thankfully, the night guy was awesome and managed to address our concerns right away. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Lobby area provides coffee, juice and snacks and is a nice place to lounge. The cleaning service was frequent, but the building itself is quite old. Upon check in I had to request the staff to fix a leaking faucet which needed a pipe replacement. Our entire stay we had difficulty sleeping throughout the night due to allergies despite the dehumidifier provided. I suspect there is either mold or dust mites in such an old building.

Great Hotel

Great affordable stay and highly recommended! AC works well and the bed was comfortable. Coffee machine in the check in floor to save my pockets. Definitely will be my place to go when visiting Taipei again.

I recently stayed at this property and, unfortunately, my experience fell well below the standards I expect from a professionally managed hotel. While the location is convenient, several operational and service-related concerns made the stay disappointing. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that the front-line staff lacked proper hospitality training. The greeting was informal and did not convey professionalism. Staff attire was inconsistent and in some cases inappropriate for a hotel setting—several employees appeared to be working without any uniform or dress code in place, which contributed to an overall impression of poor management oversight. The condition of the guest room was also concerning. Upon inspecting the bed, I found small bugs on the bed sheet, which is entirely unacceptable from a hygiene and safety standpoint. Additionally, the bathroom appeared run down, with visible wear on the walls and fixtures that gave the impression of inadequate maintenance and cleaning. Overall, this property would benefit significantly from improved staff training, the implementation of a consistent uniform policy, and a focused effort on housekeeping and facility upkeep. With proper attention to these areas, the hotel may be able to provide a more comfortable and professional experience for future guests. Unfortunately, based on this stay, I cannot recommend the property at this time.

There is no window in the room that they gave us. Very small for 4 people. We could hardly move in the room. I just wish we were told in advanced that there's no window. Toilet paper was inadequate for 4 people. I like that there's a safe and if i were a solo traveler i truck that would have been perfect.

The shower door wasn’t sealed so the bathroom filled with water when I took a shower and ran into the carpet in the bedroom. My room was on the second floor with an obstructed window. The room had a dehumidifier but was still very humid and damp feeling. Good location, but I won’t stay here again.
