Excellent location. If you're a first timer in Taipei you can trust my words - very central, well-connected and in a nice area of the city as well (Zhongshan). The rooms have a kind of antique charm but they're well taken care of. Soundproof (very important in a bustling city such as Taipei) and with blackout curtains. The staff was very nice and helpful. The only thing that was a "no no" for me was the laundry room. You can use if self-service but the logistics of it are terrible, as you have to wait for it to be clear from other guests using it, with every one of them granted up to 3h doing their laundry, and then the machines are very difficult to operate if you're a foreigner and/or not acquainted with those types of machines. Regardless of this, I had a very good stay.

スタッフのフレンドリーさは抜群です。出張などでしたら、とても手頃なお値段だと思います。ただ、古さが目立ちます。観光目的でしたので、やはり宿泊施設もそれなりの施設が良いと再認識しました。 最寄駅から少し遠いことを除けば、様々な場所へのアクセス、立地はとても良いです。

台湾🇹🇼桃園空港からホテル着は、当然タクシーならホテル入り口に到着します。1,200台湾ドル、安くホテルへ、又近くには乗り合いバスが最高。と言うのもバス停がホテル近くなので。81台湾ドル。スーツケース転がすのも近くて楽。MRTは民権西路駅で降りて、横断歩道も有り、距離は500メートル以上で、スーツケース転がすのも大変。当然道路も大きい道路で車の通行も多い。サンルートホテルは乗り合いバスでホテルへの便宜は一番と思います。因みに2,025年ゴールデンウィーク頃の換金率は日本円1万円が2,000台湾ドル。日本と物価は殆んど同じかとも。サンルートホテルから500メートルくらいにコンパクトな夜市(昼間もやってる)が有って、人数もまぁまぁで、十分な夜市かと。他の有名夜市は人が多くて、身動きも取れず、マスクも余りしていなくて、少し怖いと思います。

定年退職記念で５泊、女性一人旅でお世話になりました。確か４回目の利用です。スタッフのみなさんは日本語が話せて、いつもとても丁寧に親切に対応していただき、大変嬉しく感じています。また、お掃除のスタッフの方々も、必ず、ニーハオ（こんにちは）と、にこやかにご挨拶していただき清々しい気持ちにもなりました。私はアレルギーがありますが、毎日、きれいにお掃除していただき症状が全く出ず、これもありがたいことでした。立地は抜群です。ホテル近くには、歩いてすぐに夜市や小さな市場、少し行くと地元のスーパー等、朝は朝市があり、とても楽しい時間を過ごせました。地下鉄も５分ほど、桃園空港行のバス停も目の前です。またお世話になりますね。

特にコレと言って良かった点は無いが、悪かったところも無い。自分は主にUバイクとMRTを使用して散策するので、近くにUバイクのステーション、MRTの駅があったのが動きやすかった。あと日本語が普通に話せたので安心感があった。
