The hotel is conveniently located opposite Yong He Soymilk shop. Room was well kept but cleanliness can be improved. WIFI was weak. Bed was pretty hard. The service rendered by the staff were great!

Fantastic hotel! The position couldn’t have been better-next to Walking District shopping and markets (THE best place to stay!), 5 minutes walk to train station-both blue and green lines, as well as the bus stop. The hotel is lovely. It is renovated, clean and comfortable. My room was spacious, well equipped, and spotlessly clean. The staff are polite and friendly, but not intrusive. It didn’t make any weird noises during a morning earthquake!!! After exploring all of Taipei for a week I’m so happy I picked this location and this hotel!

The only plus point about the hotel is that it’s right smack within the vicinity of Ximending and the night market. Other than that , the hotel felt damp and old. Aircon thermostat doesn’t work. Room has no heating function - we were there in winter where it was 8-12 degc and was freezing. Had to switch off the aircon and hide under the sheets as that’s the warmest the room could get to at night.

Service was OK. Room was pretty clean. Wifi was Spotty at best. Kept disconnecting and had to manually reconnect. I had to spend extra on pocket wifi to get connection.

Though it's very convenient to get around from the hotel, the biggest downside was the terrible internet connection! It would have been a great experience had the internet not get disconnected. There are many other saying about the poor internet. Would look for other hotel in the future because if this flaw.

Worst Hotel in Taipei

I’ve visited Taipei several times. However, I was extremely displeased with the service and accommodation offered within this hotel. Not only was the receptionists rude and unprofessional, but also lack proper communication. The cleanliness of residence was gut wrenching. The wallpaper was peeling and had several unknown stains on the ceilings. The rooms also had a distinct smell mildew. In addition, the images of the hotel advertises a bright and lively atmosphere. However, the rooms are dark and dim. The atmosphere in the residence does not feel safe or welcoming. Upon arrival, guests are greeted with looks of disgust from staff. The dat security guard is lazy, and displays looks of disgust towards guests. Overall, this hotel was cumulatively a disappointment and gave a false impression. I do not recommend under any circumstance, book a room at the East Dragon Hotel in Taipei. Additional note: the elevator is extremely irritating and is in desperate need of repair.

部屋は改装されて設備は新しく清潔ですが 建物自体は古い為、窓枠は古く汚れがこびりついています。ロールスクリーンを閉めていれば気になりません 汚れや古さは窓枠だけで全体的に新しく綺麗です。 徒歩1分以内に夜市ではありませんが夜市の様なお店が少しあり夜0時前後の食事も可能です 深夜も開いている店があり、台北駅付近よりも軽い食事はしやすいです 5分程、南へ行き西門駅付近はスポーツのブランドの店などもあり飲食もしやすいです 大通り沿いではないので、騒音もありません フロントは深夜でも常駐されてました

飛行機到着が遅く、ほぼ明け方でしたが、スタッフの方がきちんと待ってくれていて、大変助かりました！ 古いホテルのようですが、窓もあり、ホコリは無く清潔でした。お掃除担当の人はとても気さくで、タオルや水も余分にくれました。
