  • Q Square mall-- not exactly a tourist destination (there are many malls in Taipei) but it's a nice mall located close to Taipei Main station (Metro/MRT) if you're looking to escape the heat. Huge food courts here too with lots of options (and obviously shopping). This mall also has a movie theatre, which shows mostly American movies (but cheaper). It's also about a 10-15 walk to the historic Dihua street, one of the oldest areas of the city which was once the main market area (still lots of interesting shops there that cater to the local...good photo opps too with some older buildings)

Clean and comfortable stay overall. The room was simple but tidy, and I really appreciated the snacks, coffee and tea available in the lobby, as well as the shared space where we could sit together and enjoy takeout. The staff were efficient and helpful throughout my stay. The only downside was that the air conditioning in the room was very cold and could not be adjusted to a lower setting, but the staff were happy to provide an extra blanket when I asked. I would consider staying here again for the good service and convenient common area.

It's simple,family friendly environment, clean, safe, accessible to local shops. Would like to say thank you to the gentelman staff who welcome us on our arrival to the hotel last 22nd of May at 9:00 and he was the one on duty when we left the click Hotel taipei main branch around 7pm. Generally friendly and helpful staff. Not a lot of space in the room, but the beds are comfortable and hotel location is super convenient. My 4yo and 8yo kids enjoyed the kid play space in the common area. Snacks and drinks and coffee were nice amenities.

This hotel is fine. It's not great. I was there for 5 days and and the dryer was only operational for 1. The wifi was terrible. If you need to do work in your room you were lucky to get 10 minutes of connectivity. The lobby internet was better. The location is the best thing about it. Very close to the main train station.

It was a strategically located hotel. It only has one floor, so it is easy to navigate from the lobby after checking in to the rooms. Room was spacious and clean. Only downside was the soundproofing was lacking. You can hear people walking and talking along the corridor. Overall it was a pleasant stay and suitable for family travelers.

Great Hotel Except for Thin Walls

I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was. The bed was comfy, the rooms were nice, there's lots of thoughtful touches, and there's even a deep tub in the large bathroom. The only minus is the thin walls: I could hear a man yelling at his crying child next door; and they kept the TV playing all night and into the early morning.

Hotel interior is okay, clean and comfortable. Outer look of the building looks pretty run down. Room service cleaning, they only will change away towel and floor towel, they will not make your bed for you. Overall okay. Staffs are friendly.

Location was great, close to main stations! Drinks and snacks service throughout the day at the reception. The building where it is in looks rundown. The walls and doors of the room are thin or not sound proof so you can hear people at corridor or room next door.

Location was very good! Just a few mins walk from Taipei Main station which is linked to all the main transports (HSR, Airport train & buses). Downstairs is the underground malls, plenty of food options around, walkable to XMD as well! Only slight imperfection is the location of one powerpoint that's in the way of the pillow (if u use that powerpoint, u will keep hitting your head with it). My teenagers loved that they can redeemed free cup noodles from 9pm-12mn! Loved it!
