The staff is friendly and helpful. The room is very small and layout is a little bit wired. If one or two people stay in the room is fine, but family of 4 with kids like us is too small. The water fountain in the hallway is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is nice with wide selections. You also have to experience a very long time elevator time because so many rooms in one floor and only two elevators.

The Ac in the room was making noise they sent technician come to fix in 2 minutes after I called. Hotel was very well positioned as was next to Wanhua train station which would easily get us to Taipei Central station or walking about a block or so would have easy access to Longshan Train Station which takes you through Taipei Central but didn't require transfer for certain routes. Wanhua to Taipei Central would require transfers to other lines. Hotel was clean and extremely busy, had easily accessible convenience stores around. My fault for not realizing that around Longshan Temple, short walk away, there were some smaller night markets around until much later in our stay. We had traveled to many of the larger night market by train and didn't explore enough around our hotel vicinity. Also, very convenient for money exchanges with Bank of Taiwan just outside of Wanhua station.

Self check-in wasn’t working due to a system issue, so I had to rely on staff to get checked in. They gave me two free Starbucks vouchers as an apology, though the one member of staff there was strikingly cold. The pool was as good as ever. The gym, however, only had cardio machines — a few weights would’ve been nice. The room was clean and comfortable. I remember they used to provide complimentary bottled water, but that seems to have gone. There was still a sign near the lifts saying water was available, though none to be found. It was also very busy with tour groups this time — at certain hours the lifts were unusable, so I had to take the stairs.
