This hotel is located in a good area. There are two different subway lines that are very close by. There are many restaurants and coffee shops nearby as well. The hotel felt very safe, and the rooms looked like the pictures. Breakfast was varied, and the pool was a great way to deal with the heat. There was also a small playroom for younger children. Generally, this is a good place for families to stay.

The room was comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Even if it rains, you can get to the station without getting wet. Although they aren't often featured in guidebooks, there are also some cheap and delicious restaurants nearby.

A nice hotel

This is a user friendly hotel at reasonable price. I mistakenly reserved two rooms and they agreed to cancel one of them for me at no charge. The reception staff were very helpful and patient to help me out in the process.

The staff was professional and very helpful. As a foreigner visiting the country, I appreciated the employee's effort to support and accommodate. The facilities were clean and orderly. The hotel location was very convenient for transit and local shopping. There have been some reviews about crime in or around the hotel but I didnt experience any of that. I was able to walk around alone around midnight and didnt feel unsafe. Now, walking around at midnight may not have been a good idea but I didnt see or experience anything that made me feel uncomfortable. Lastly, my family and I had a wonderful time staying at this property and would stay there again.

The hotel lobby was elegant and welcoming, but once we reached our floor (23rd), the experience changed. The corridor lighting was extremely dim — not only straining on the eyes but also creating an uneasy feeling, especially when walking alone. The stark contrast in ambiance between the lobby and the corridors was quite surprising. That said, the room itself was pleasant overall, with a fantastic view facing the Yangmingshan direction — definitely a highlight of our stay.

One night in Taipei

I've stayed here many times. I was a little put off by the outside upon arrival. I said I could do the self checkin on my own as this was 5+ time staying here. He insisted. Oh, well. It didn't impede my comfort and honestly the VIP room upgrade was great. Separate living room. Spacious bathroom. Bathtub with a 26th floor city view. Incredible really. I recommend this hotel.

Reasonable for price charged. Rooms are small. Bathroom design is poor with lack of hangers for clothes. Vanity doubles as walkway - not ideal if sharing room with friends. Beware of mosquitos inside the room during warm days - use insect repellent or mosquito patches inside the room. No bottled water provided - BYO bottle and use water dispenser. Lifts are small and can take a while. 3.5 stars is a more appropriate rating for the property.

Pros: 1. Central location; convenient access to both MRT and Taiwan Railway stations. 2. A decent-sized swimming pool that met my need for exercise during the trip. Cons: 1. Our room was a bit run-down. Insufficient ventilation in the toilet caused a mouldy smell. When we first arrived, the toilet area even smelled of urine! 2. Debris remained on the floor after cleaning. There were fleas on our bedding one night. 3. It’s a large hotel serving many tour groups. The lobby was always crowded, and the lifts were very busy and slow during peak hours. 4. We visited during the Easter holidays. The hustle clearly made the staff quite tense, and we encountered a few unhappy ones.

The location and transportation near the hotel is good. However, there are too many people in the hotel, which makes the elevator to be delayed and chaotic. Moreover, there are constant arrival of the traveller groups which makes the lobby even more chaotic. Every time they come to the lobby, the hotel manager just squeeze the people into the elevator as of we are a luggage or something. I don't understand how the education of the workers in the hotel is working. Specifically, the manager who just pushed people into the elevator is very rude. When we complained about this, he chose to speak in a sarcastic manner and not accept that he did a wrong thing. Overall, I would say that the service provided in the hotel is one of the worst hotels I have visited.
