Great budget hotel near a number of highly-rated restaurants, night markets and shops. Staff is friendly. Twin room we stayed in was much bigger than I expected given that Taipei is a small city (ie. Less square footage expected for hotel rooms)

The first room i got smelled like sewage so i had to change. I wish the staff was a lot more friendly, i wish their duvets was of better quality, i wish the AC would turn the room cool and not this mid temp that made it hard to sleep. Anyways decent, i guess u get what u pay for...

A lot of dining and shopping options in the area at Ximending. No breakfast, but the 15th floor lounge is a nice and relaxed place for breakfast and even light dinner. Good value for the rate in Taipei
