  • Last night we went to a Taoist Temple in Taipei. You can see in the close up picture of people praying how they receive and answer immediately from the prayers. After kneeling and bowing, you throw two "stones" onto the floor. They are both crescent shaped with a sun and a moon side. If they end up both on one side, the answer is NO. If they end up both on the other side, the answer is maybe, or not enough information. If the end up like a ying and a yang, then the answer is YES. I took a moment to pray, asked my question and got a ying and a yang out of the throw. The belief is, that the result comes from within your own heart.

Close to subway and underground shopping. Spacious cafe opens 24 hrs with free coffee, tea & ice-cream; a place to relax reading books from their small library. Complimentary toast & jam, instant soup & snack cookies to start your morning.

This is my second time staying here, following on from last year. I was able to spend a comfortable time again. They will store your luggage before check-in and check-out, so you can use your time effectively to sightsee in the area. The staff is also very friendly. Some of the facilities are a little old, but they are well-cleaned so it doesn't bother me. I would like to stay here again next time. Thank you again!

Good service gives a safe trip

The receptionists are kind and friendly. They helped me to receive the package and keep it safely. Moreover, they politely reminded us the checkout time then didn’t forget to remind me the important package. I will come back next time, and many times whenever I travel to Taipei. I let my friends and relative members about this hotel. Love you all.

Great hotel

The hotel is set in a nice location in Zhongshan, with plenty of shops and eateries around. It is only a few stops away from Taipei main station. The room is clean, bed is comfy and you get free coffee and tea with snacks on the second floor. One can takeaway food to enjoy in that space too. The only problem is that hotel price is currently sky high for Taipei, or Taiwan in general so value for money is quite low if you are visiting.

Love the Level 2 dinning place with Coffee and free flow ice cream. House cleaning can do better. Front desk service is good. Easy check in and check out. Roon big but kind of old. currently is on some reno during my stay 23/12/23 to 29/12/23. Love the 70" LCD

The staff were all very friendly. Close the station. Close to the morning market. The AC cover on.rhe ceiling was off and was afraid that it might fall off. Some of the guests were super noisy but that is not.the fault of the hotel. Good have welcome water bottles. The lounge on the 2nd fl had coffee machines and snacks for free.

All good, but give me hand soap

The rooms are large, modern, and clean. Location is great. Free coffee and snacks are more than welcome. But no hand soap?? When I brought up the issue to the front desk, the clerk just looked at me with confusion and said "Yes, there is soap in the shower." So am I supposed to go into the damp shower with my wet hands every time I wash my hands? Yes, it is a minor thing, but a hotel of this standing not providing hand soap when we're just out of a pandemic is baffling. This and the attitude of the staff in response to this put a damper on an otherwise great stay.

there is plenty snack and drink. room is ok for a 3 star hotel. For a standard room rate it's ok, but when it goes up 1/3 on rate, then it's not worth. the confoter is too small for a couple.
