Plenty nearby when it comes to food, shopping and transportation. 5 minute walk to Taichung station, as well directly downstairs from the hotel is the asean centre which provides lots of little stall markets and food options.

Excellent stay in old Taichung city! Lobby staff were kind. Water stations were plentiful and we enjoyed the tea and lobby seating area! The rooms were very clean and aesthetic.

One of my favourite hotels in Taichung

This is a really good hotel in Taichung. I usually stay at the Le Meridien but this is a good alternative. Be aware of the check out time which is annoying (I thought it was 1200 but it’s at 1100). Room is super clean and shower was really nice. Air conditioning was good too. Good view from a high floor and very good place in Taichung.

Didn’t like the location as it was dirty and rowdy when we arrived on a Saturday night. Had problem finding local food as it was an Asian town. Hotel was nice but minimal. No place for hanging stuffs .

Room and toilet was big and spacious. Daily housekeeping only changes towels, cleans up the room and tops up coffee/tea/water, however other additional services can be requested! Amenities are also available upon request at the lobby. Lobby has snacks and coffee/tea available for guests, since we were here during typhoon season, was glad they had umbrella to lend as well. Overall quite a good stay, only possible downside is that it is located at ASEAN square, some people may not be comfortable with groups of people gathering around the area.
