“A spacious room and bathroom were the strengths of our stay. The room itself was comfortable and large enough for two, and the bathroom was clean and pleasant to use. The setting was less convincing. The street around the hotel, and the hotel frontage itself, looked worn and poorly kept, with little sign of regular maintenance. Check-in was not available until 15:00. During the stay we mislaid the room card and were charged NT$500 for a replacement. That fee felt high for a key card. Sound...

“明德水庫旁原先的教師會館，重新裝潢。優點：面湖位置絕佳、房間大且有木質地板、被子輕軟又保暖，很舒服。缺點：1.淋浴的熱水要留很久才會熱，盆浴的則是再久也只到溫溫的，等放完水也冷掉了，無法泡澡；2.入住當晚住房率很低，館方也不願意讓我們稍提前入住。 非屬館方：明德水庫環湖公路目前施工無法完整通行，沒有公告，館方也不知。我們走到一半只好掉頭(雖然景色也不怎麼樣)。雖然會館看出區的湖景很好，但明德水庫留宿觀光做不起來，因果相扣形成循環，蠻可惜的。倒過來說，附近留宿觀光不發達所以晚上蠻安靜的，適合喜歡安靜放空的人。”
