The view from this property is amazing! Make sure to eat breakfast at the outdoor buffet. Pedestrian path to Sky Ranch amusement park. Walking distance to Mushroom Burger and McDonald's. Hotel provides water filling stations for guests. They dispense hot, cold and room temperature water for free. Pitchers are provided in every guest rooms. The only negative I can say, and its not the fault of the hotel, is that ride sharing services do not operate around Taal Lake. You have to use local transportation like jeepneys, tricycles or tour vans. The latter of which can get quite expensive.

After dealing with some really disappointing hotel experiences on this trip, staying here was an absolute breath of fresh air. This hotel is truly wonderful, and the hospitality we experienced was outstanding. Here is why I highly recommend this hotel: Generous Upgrades & Stunning Views: Unlike other hotels that refuse to accommodate guests, Taal Vista kindly upgraded our room upon availability. The view of the Taal Volcano straight from our balcony was absolutely breathtaking and unforgettable. Wonderful & Kind Staff: The customer service here is excellent. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly kind, attentive, and welcoming. Fantastic Buffet & Live Music: The buffet was delicious with a great variety of food. To make the dining experience even better, they had someone beautifully serenading the guests while we ate, which created such a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. Taal Vista Hotel knows how to treat their guests right. It gave me the peaceful, beautiful break I truly needed. I will definitely be back!

The Mountain view rooms could use updating to the level of the Lake view rooms. The rooms themselves are dated and lack the resort feel on the Lake view rooms. But over all, this is a beautiful spot to be. Night time just look purely romantic along with Sky Ranch being right next door, makes it even better.
