We loved staying here! The place was exactly how it looked in the pictures and it was very easy to get into and get settled. The house was very clean and had a book with information for the house and area which was a nice touch and had a guest book to write about our experience. It is right behind the bakery owned by the same owner as the house so you could walk into the back door to grab a coffee or some pastries. A few things to note but nothing that would stop me from staying there again. I did find a toe nail under the sink in the master bathroom but it wasn’t anything crazy! The thermostat is locked so you can’t adjust the temp. I was fine but my friend did get a bit cold especially in the second bathroom. We arrived very late at night so it was pretty dark. We completely didn’t see the parking signs (we were too busy looking for the house) so make note that the parking spot is in the back side of the house. The key is attached and because I have longer nails I had a hard time sometimes opening the lock box but it really wasn’t an issue. I wasn’t worried about anyone getting the key since they change the code for each specific stay. It wasn’t an issue because we only had two people but there weren’t a ton of bath towels. I believe it was 2 per bathroom. I didn’t bother to ask if they had more as we didn’t need them but it might be something you can ask for. If you have little kids, fair warning that they have a few breakable decorations. We loved the house!!!

We booked this property while taking a trip to the west side to visit family. We originally chose it because it was close to the zoo. The fact that it’s a completely remodeled, period style home was a quirky bonus, until we got there. Every detail was perfect, from the furniture down to music playing when we walked in. We’re already planning our next visit, but without the kids next time.
