Room had clearly been occupied long-term by a smoker as it had an oppressive stench of smoke that was really pretty awful and made it hard to breathe through the heaviness (although there were non-smoking signs on the door and elsewhere). I’ve stayed in many hotels and this was the worst smelling I’ve ever experienced. Staff at the desk (Josephine and another woman) were wonderful and kind and lovely.

Our first room.was not good, not the fault of the staff because it looked like it was still.new but as things dried out the wet spot by the bed turned out to be urine and the Bible had a huge Satanic message in it. When we moved the second night that room was much more pleasant and clean. Smelled better. The staff was amazing and breakfast was good. Its in town so really central to everything. We would stay again.
