A Unique Stay in Stockholm

This hotel is located in a beautiful affluent neighborhood about 20 minutes by train outside of the center of Stockholm. I was looking for a unique place to stay that didn’t feel like a generic international hotel chain. This place preserves the character of the old mansion, while pairing it with cleanliness and good upkeep, along with amazing hospitality. Would definitely return!!

Generally we were happy and would stay here again, but the room we had was dark and unpractical and we were a bit dissapointed that the terrace was rather small and 1,20m «below» the surrounding terrain

Rummet vi bodde i var vĂ€ldigt basic/sunkigt, ingen mysfaktor alls - vilket vi hade förvĂ€ntat oss. Badrummet hade ett gammalt trött duscdrapperi som var alldeles gult/mögligt nedtill. Elementen var alldeles dammiga. OmrĂ„det i sig och huvudbyggnaden Ă€r trevliga men boendedelen och rummen Ă€r ett skĂ€mt, passar inte alls ihop med huvudbyggnaden. Hotellet har bra potential men lĂ„ng vĂ€g dit. Kan rekommendera att Ă€ta hĂ€r, men avrĂ„der frĂ„n övernattning tyvĂ€rr. FörvĂ„nad av ”Countryside hotels” att detta stĂ€lle kvalificerar sig att ingĂ„ dĂ€r.

Besvikna!

Otroligt besvikna! Vi bokade in oss pÄ NynÀs Slott i hopp om en avkopplande, barnfri helg, men tyvÀrr blev upplevelsen en stor besvikelse. IstÀllet för att fÄ rum pÄ sjÀlva slottet placerades vi i en annan tegelbyggnad en bit bort, med fula och trista rum som inte alls motsvarade förvÀntningarna eller bilderna. Vi valde slottet just för miljön och kÀnslan, sÄ det kÀndes verkligen som att hela upplevelsen gick förlorad. Personalen hanterade det dock professionellt och vi fick pengarna tillbaka, vilket vi uppskattar. Men trots det kunde de inte reparera besvikelsen, de förstörde en helg vi verkligen behövde för att komma bort frÄn vardagen och bara koppla av. Slottet var vackert och vÀldigt fint designat och vi hade verkligen sett fram emot att bo dÀr.

För lite personal...stora stunder var det ingen som stod i receptionen/baren för de var tvungna och göra massa andra saker. Fanns inga badrockar eller handdukar eller tofflor till spa:t pÄ rummet. Fick gÄ och frÄga efter det 2 gÄnger. Ingen som jobbade i spa avdelningen heller, sÄ de dök upp ibland bara. Dessutom för mÄnga i avdelningen Ät gÄngen. VÀrst var att det var jÀttekallt pÄ rummet sÄ fick sova med lite klÀder pÄ sig. FörrÀtten var jÀttegod, men huvudrÀtten var inte alls bra tyvÀrr. Frukosten var inte heller kul. Detta fÄr betyg 2 pÄ en skala till 5. Varit pÄ 56 andra stÀllen i Sverige...sÄ har lite och jÀmföra med. Men vÀldans trevlig personal ska tillÀggas.

Underbar pizzeria!

Vi hade vÄr bröllopsnatt hÀr efter vigsel i Stadshuset. Fint och mysigt rum, bra frukost. HÀrligt omrÄde runtomkring och deras lilla egna pizzeria var toppen, underbar mat och trevlig och leende personal. Mycket bÀttre Àn pÄ sjÀlva hotellet.

Bra slottsdel med mer att önska avseende rummen

SjÀlva slottsdelen Àr mycket trevlig för exempelvis en te/kaffe, middag och frukost. Rummet kÀndes inte rent, framförallt inte badrummet dÀr exempelvis duschdraperiet var svart av smuts.
