Tabor is a very nice city, with almost All you need, hotel Palcát has a parking lot, and the staff are friendly, They are good at making you feel welcome with cosy small talk, one hour drive from wold unesco city krumlov, pictures are from Krumlov. In Krumlov there is a lot to see, the restaurant satlava

Fabulous restaurant in hotel

A good hotel close to the old town. We ate at the restaurant and the food was fabulous. Loved the old town and the history of the town and had a nice walk around the Jordan River. It was a good choice to stop over on our way from Prague to Cesky Krumlov.

Nettes Hotel

Das Hotel ist zentral in Tabor. Die Zimmer sind frisch renoviert und mit schönem Bad. Der einzige Wermutstropfen, die Matratzen sind steinhart.

A good centrally located hotel. The rooms are a little small, but they are in excellent condition and clean and tidy. I needed some laundry doing and was surprised that they did not have a proper facility for this. Although they did complete it for me. Unfortunately I had to leave as the hotel had been fully booked for a local festival, although the gentleman on reception was trying to find a way of accomodating me.

Much better possible nearby Badly managed

Soviet style throwback from before the revolution. Small rooms Unbearably hot in Summer on South side with large picture windows no air con or even a fan. Windows shut on checking in room temp 40 degrees plus. Staff vary from Excellent to appalling. Generally the management sit around scowling caring little for the customer experience. Tabor is lovely but stay somewhere else if its a hot Summer. Restaurant tale of emperors new clothes overpriced and poor food and service Its called Illusion which is fitting because it looks better than it is. The breakfast is good but theres no salt and pepper for your eggs. Lots of little details ad up to a poor overall experience a bit more thought and this place could rise to mediocre.
