I stayed for a couple of days with some friends, occupying two apartments. The building seems that has been recently renovated. The apartments were spacious, comfortable and clean. One of the apartments though, smelled like some of the walls had humidity and also had some issues when flushing the toilet. The location of the apartments are on the east side of Ortigia, meaning that is the least renovated area and that you have to walk a little bit more to get closer to most of the nicest areas. Overall a good price for what you get.

A clean, very well equipped apartment on a lovely quiet little street. Looks like a very recent renovation of an historic building. We had a bit of a problem getting in as the instructions were sent very late, and it’s totally automated. However, after that, communication was very good. The electric stopped working and a staff person was there to help within minutes. I would just advise that hotidays send instructions to Expedia at least 24 hrs ahead as not everyone has international calling or wifi.

The apartment was spacious and clean, with all modern amenities. However, the check-in was needlessly complicated. We had the address, but the hotel was the only building on the street without a number. The entrance sign showed a different name, so we couldn't tell it was the right place. We called the listed number and were told we had to send photos of our IDs to receive the code to open the door. The keypad numbers were completely invisible because of the sun, so we could only enter the code after some difficulty. Imagine two people standing on the street with lots of luggage, under the scorching sun, trying to find a spot to photograph documents and send them (poor internet and low battery). Why don't they warn guests in advance that check-in is by phone and requires sending ID photos? The process was completely automated. Only after that were we able to enter. The rooftop pool shown in the photos is actually a jacuzzi and was covered with a black tarp. Overall a terrible experience. I do not recommend.

Wasn’t made 100% clear how to check in. It turned out I could have checked in before arriving but it was only when I reached the property and called the number that it was made clear to provide city tax proof of payment and id. After this hiccup however the apartment was great and central close to the old market and temple of Apollo 👍👌😊

L’appartement est parfait, comme sur les photos avec une terrasse privée ainsi qu’une terrasse partagée sur le toit. Celle-ci comprends chaises, chaises longues et bain tourbillon. Aussi, la cuisine avec un gros îlot était génial. L’appartement était très propre aussi. La seule chose qui nous a dérangé et qui m’empêche de mettre un 5 étoiles c’est les communications avec les propriétaires. J’ai réservé en février pour un séjour en juin. J’ai reçu une confirmation de réservation à ce moment là. Par contre, j’ai essayé de communiquer avec eux par messages sur Expedia et avec Whatsapp à leur demande. Je n’ai eu aucune réponse. La veille de notre arrivée à 20:00, nous n’avions reçu aucune nouvelle d’eux et ne savions pas comment entrer dans l’appartement. J’ai dû appeler Expedia en urgence afin d’obtenir les informations. Nous avons reçu l’information seulement la journée de notre arrivée seulement. Cela fut stressant pour rien. Ils auraient pu prendre deux minutes pour m’informer que l’entrée se ferait par code. Je devais fournir une photo de mon passeport et payer les frais de voyageur imposé par la ville le matin même de mon arrivée. Cela aurait pu être fait la veille.
