We stayed here for one night and wish we could have stayed longer. We didn’t have time to use the spa but we did go to the outdoor pool for a bit. The pool was amazing and the outdoor bar was a nice touch. The breakfast was very good and the room overlooked the race track so you can watch the horses warm up in the morning. It was an overall excellent hotel for the price.

The room was spacious, very clean, balcony was huge with a view over the front of the hotel. The staff were very friendly. Particularly the resteraunt staff. Veronica was very helpful with the menu and very courteous. The food was excellent both for breakfast & Dinner. A minor observation was that the power sockets in the room required a different adapter, not supplied , we had to loan from reception. Also there was no tea making facilities in the room , we had to ask for this from reception, and inconvenience rather than a complaint, we should of been told of this on checking in. The Bars both inside & by the pool were not operational., throughout our stay. Overall it was a very nice hotel oh and the pools were very good & well maintained. Anyone who may be planning to go there should be aware that it's a remote location, no local transport whatsoever. Imperative that you need a car. There is no shuttle bus available. A taxi cost £60 to the town. I don't think I've been over critical, but I hope this review helps you as a potential visitor.

It’s amazing if you have your own car and are able to move around. Breakfast is good, the rooms are a little old but they are comfortable and clean, the staff is very kind. I’ve stayed at this hotel for the last 4 or 5 summer vacations. It’s an amazing place to stay if you want to explore the area.

It was a good stay, the only setback is that the indoor pool and gym are great but opens at 10am which technically makes no sense as you will miss breakfast, it would be ideal to open only the gym from 7/8am

April 2014 Stay

Room was missing details for a 4 star hotel. Did not have a coffee maker or kettle in the room. Had to ask reception to provide us with two normal glasses and a coffee cups. Smell of damp in the bathroom but other then that room was clean. Breakfast not enough staff to cater for restaurant size. Items take too long to be replace when finished . Indoor pool needs to be warmer as was cold .

Dangerous baby cots.

Do not use the baby cots, they are not safe, the mattresses are smaller than the cots and they don't have cot sheets, they use single bed sheets instead. Our baby got trapped under the mattress, with the sheets. The hotel did nothing to solve the problem apart from proposing an even worse fitting mattress, and still made us pay a supplement for the cot that could have killed our baby. We also had a leak in the bathroom, brown water from the tap, and the outside pool is closed.

L’hôtel était un 5 étoiles qui devait être incroyable. Aujourd’hui, c’est un 4 étoiles et cela s’explique : - le petit déjeuner même s’il n’est pas mauvais n’est pas exceptionnel. - l’espace spa est bien mais des enfants y ont accès ce qui gâchent l’expérience détente d’autant que le jaccuzi sentait l’urine (des bébés et petits y ont accès) - hammam et sauna ne fonctionnaient pas - la piscine extérieure est sympathique - les chambres sont un peu vétustes - le restaurant est très cher : ils appliquent une taxe de 3€ en plus par personne ( c’est écrit en tout petit sur le menu) et on m’a compté une bouteille en trop - l’hippodrome est sec, il y’a des courses certains soirs - il n’y a aucune animation et c’est vraiment dommage donc on sortait tous les soirs - il faut absolument être véhiculé car c’est loin de tout (ce qui est bien quand on veut être isoler) - l’environnement extérieur a l’hôtel est désolant : herbe devenue paille et déchets sur le bord des routes et il n’y a rien

Its next to the horse racetrack and seemes like the site is from a byfone era intended for horse races and events. The hotel is newer, but doesnt make full use of the amentities, for example there is a lobby bar/cafe buts its all tidied away and never staffed. The worst part is this is an isolated hotel wity the closest town being Cassibile which you will need to visit by car for lunch and dinner as the hotel restaurant is terrible and and mediocre if I am being kind. Not only is the food generally poor but the service can be chaos, for example seeing other dinners waiting 1 hour for food and complaining and being met with a bill for food that never arrived. Wish i hadnt stayed here.

Das Hotel und das Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Die Lage war etwas abgelegen aber dafür war es schön ruhig. Wir hatten eine Massage Anwendung gebucht allerdings war das keine Massage sondern eher „streicheln“ dafür war der Preis zu hoch.
