The hotel was in a fabulous area, walkable to everything. The family run hotel treated all guests as if they were the only ones there, providing personalized care. The breakfast was fantastic and the homemade jam was delicious! We would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

We absolutely loved Aretusa Vacanze! The room was very cozy and spacious. The owners were there every morning preparing breakfast, and the rest of the family helped manage the B&B beautifully. We especially appreciated Stefano’s dinner recommendations.

Aretusa Vacanze was excellent and all the staff were so friendly. The breakfasts were very good and they were enhanced by the excellent selection of homemade jams. Parking was about 10 minutes walk away for €20/ day in a private lot which was reasonable for the area.

A lovely family run B&B with a rooftop terrace overlooking the city and the sea. Wonderful breakfasts with choice of delicious homemade jams and yummy croissants etc. Our room was large and comfortable and the bathroom totally modern. Even though we had booked two weeks at a beach resort in Giardini-Naxos we still opted to come here for an overnight stay to get more from our visit to Ortigia/Siracusa than you can from just a day trip. Perfectly situated, close to everything and still on a nice and calm enough street. Best breakfast that we had in our two weeks in Sicily. Everybodys' reviews speak of the jams but really, you NEED to try them! Great host with good English, but still enough patience to also let me practise my Italian. I can't say enough nice things about the hosts. They were so accommodating and gave us great recommendations on restaurants. The location is very close to the main areas. The room was wonderful. There was a place to hang your laundry on a little terrace. I would highly recommend staying here. Ortigia is just beautiful.

Fantastic family run small hotel which provides excellent value and is ideally placed to enjoy the delights of Syracuse. Rooms are spacious with good facilities. Stefano and his staff go out of their way to help and nothing is too much trouble to make your stay perfect. The roof terrace is a highlight and you can enjoy your breakfast with views over the city to the sea or enjoy the sunset. We will definitely be back.
