“The car GPS wasn't very good but I managed to use the directions on my phone. The rooms are across the road from the actual hotel. The food was really tasty especially the Full English breakfast which was inclusive. The Accessible room was very comfortable& the wet room was great, just what I needed. Definitely recommend this place.”

“Have stayed before and will stay again. Comfortable bed with crisp linens. Place needs refurbishment as looking tired, Unfortunately this means it looks like it’s not as clean as it actually appears to be. Hence my lower ratings here. It has basic amenities in the room, towels (clean but new to be renewed), drinks making facilities and supplies. We’ve had a good evening meal and breakfast here before but unfortunately no chef this time which I wasn’t aware of so very disappointed...

“Great communication as a self check in with a lock box, plenty of private parking next to the accommodation. Carlton Towers has a tea room within walking distance which was convenient. Room was big with everything we needed for 2 nights. Would recommend and stay again if back in the area.”

“The location was excellent for our visit to Breighton 1940s weekend, only 12 minutes away. The cottage was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was good quality and presented well. Only problem was the wine on the second night was not very nice but the waitress changed it for us without question and this is something that can happen so not a big problem and did not spoil the weekend. Great that you can park outside the cottage safely.”

“Excellent stay at the Briarcroft Hotel. We needed a place near the wedding venue we attended and this was right on the doorstep. The rooms were exceptionally clean, the staff were very attentive when needed. The continental breakfast was very nice, orange juice, cereal, toast. Parking right outside the hotel. Everything we needed was right there including local shops, bars and restaurants. We will definitely use this place again”
