The staff were friendly and helpful at both the check in and check out stage. The room was just as advertised and what we wanted. Walking distance to restaurants and to the Theatre Royal, where we saw a show.

Our overnight stay at the Novotel was great. The location was central and the hotel was clean and staff were friendly. The breakfast area gets very busy on the weekend so there was a short wait but it wasn’t too long.

Hotel is in the CBD central business district Short walk to both harbors and the great restaurants / shops coffee - next to Wynyard underground train station with easy access to rail system which for me has anxiety using around Europe but in Australia easy swipe on/ off with credit card only charges for the trip on only Breakfast was good at hotel - rooms are standard - housekeeping manager double checks rooms that they are cleaned Arrived real early in Sydney and hotel got us our rooms early. Novotel operates several area locations …found this site on York st perfect for Sydney marathon - most places only deal with credit cards so next visit I’d would limit the cash on hand -Sydney is walkable however hilly short hops on the light rail / train or bus would help if not in the walking spirit - tip …walk around pay attention to the places that have lines the local business people are at, will give you a clue on the quality of the shop

Staff are cheerful and helpful. Room is good. Location of the hotel is great. Famous spots like Opera House, Darling Harbour, The Rocks are in walking distance. Taking Metro from / to the airport is also very convenience, just a few minutes walk to the metro station

The rooms were large, very clean & well maintained, although the bathrooms could do with better ventilation (there was a sign in the bathroom saying you would be fined $2000 if the steam from your shower set off the smoke alarm - isn't this more a hotel problem, not guests?!). The foyer & restaurant - while very clean & well maintained - looks a little dull & dated. Staff were friendly & helpful. Great location in the city with plenty of restaurants & tourist spots / sights nearby.
