The food was quite good. The room had what we needed. A little bit of staining on the carpet, but the room was clean overall. The TV wasn’t connected to the TV so wasn’t able to use the Smart TV options.

The staff were accommodating, nice and polite. The Tavern itself was great. Accommodation was pretty average. Beds (Room #13: 2 x single beds) were ok. Pillows were extremely lumpy. The room was very noisy, even though there were rooms either side - it sounded like an industrial washing machine that was going all night… The bathroom sliding door wouldn’t slide and the toilet was in the weirdest spot I’ve ever seen!! You had to sit sideways on it to use it and reach far across to get the toilet paper!! If you need a quick place to crash for a few hours, it’s fair. If you looking for something with a bit of comfort, this room at this location, isn’t for you. Good staff though!

Bird problem

Booked here accidentally and was shocked at the state of the outside. The tavern itself was good but serious cleaning needs to be done outside the rooms particularly the massive amount of bird poop. The bed was clean and comfortable double bit small. Obviously only ok if you have had too much to drink and can't drive.

Small smelly room, stank of cigarette smoke so bad I went out and bought room spray and considered sleeping in my car. The smoke detector had been tampered with! The shower was extremely small. Air conditioner worked thank goodness but temp was stuck on 20 degrees. Only positive was bed sheets were clean. Shame the doona stank like cigarette smoke though.

Room was clean, I would have liked some kind of breakfast even if it was juice and cereal. I found getting up and having to find breakfast was tiring. They could put the price up to cover, still would be a great price. I would have also liked a face washer being an older woman.

Misleading - this is a cheap casino motel

This is not a hotel. It is a dingy, cheap motel in the back of a loud and smelly casino/bar. They market themselves as family friendly but I would never bring a child here. The food at the bar was decent which is the only reason I don’t give it 1/5 stars across the board.
