This place is terrific value for money with friendly staff, comfortable bed, very clean & convenient location. The only issue is parking, we had to leave our car a couple of blocks away.

This is my new go to home when I come to Sydney this was not my first stay. I forgot how great it was. It is spotlessly clean great beds and linen lovely surroundings and warm friendly staff who are very accomodating.

We loved the location - was easy to catch a bus to Bondi Beach or up to Bondi Junction for buses and trains - or you could walk up in 10 minutes. Great staff on reception, always friendly and helpful

It was a very nice stay, the staff friendly and helpful. And the area was quiet. Although on the small side, the room & bedding was nicely made up. Suggest they install tasteful but functional wall hooks for clothing in both bedroom and bathroom and also provide washcloths. Overall, I was happy to have chosen this location.

We stayed at the Baxley for 4 nights. It was extremely comfortable and clean. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The room had brilliant aircon to keep the room cool. We had fresh towels every 2 days. I can’t fault anything about this accommodation.

Great spot if you don't mind taking the bus!

The Baxley was awesome! Really nice little spot if you don't need anything but a place to sleep. It was very clean and the staff was so friendly! I was able to do laundry on site, which was a huge bonus! Only issues really were that the TV streaming kept going out and I could've used more towels. It's also a kinda weird location. Had to take the bus to get just about anywhere, but that was okay. Would stay again!

This is not a hotel but more a hostel charging over 200$ a night. A complete joke. Noise insulation is so minimal that you hear all your neighbours all night long even if they are not behaving particular noisy. The worst is the shared bathroom which people use all night and you can participate in what they are doing by just listening. Horrible place. Never again.

Clean and bright and so well located. Lovely building and room, thank you. Unf I had not realised I had paid $495 per night for a room without a bathroom! Expensive. Also the repeated noise all night - was it the air conditioner or pipes in the walls? The staff said they didn’t know - but i saw this has been in past reviews. The noise of corridor doors opening and closing is also disruptive: sound proofing is not a thing here. I asked for an iron at 5.30 Sat night but didn’t hear back until Sunday morning - too late.
