My son and I stayed for the state of origin. The rooms were comfortable and neat, beers were delicious, staff were tremendous. We’ll definitely be back.

Room shutters needed repair.
Overall the facilities were fair for what they are and, whilst pretty noisy, the Palace represents good value. It’s an old pub so be realistic; don’t expect a quiet, modern experience.
3.5 stars.
Taking into account that this is an old style pub with share bathrooms we enjoyed our stay and slept well in the comfortable beds. It’s a popular pub with good food so expect a bit of noise at night. Some things can’t be helped- it’s a pub, and a nice one at that!
The accommodation and services is excellent. Their staff very friendly and amazing.
Very highly recommended to his accommodation and I’m sure will stay in this hotel next time visit
Thank you good people.
Very nice and value for money. My only complaint - and minor at that - was the room was a little stuffy, no fresh air as all windows were sealed. I’d be very happy to visit again. Ray

As far as a pub goes its lively and popular, as far as a hotel i wouldn’t stay there again
We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay. Room was large and warm and bathroom was very clean and had great hot water. Would have been good to have a bar fridge and spoons to stir coffee.
Basic pub rooms, but clean and airy. Great staff with answers for out of State-rs like myself.
It’s a quiet, relaxed, easy going pub with friendly staff, great food and a menu special each night for $’s to $$’s but all worth it and a top beer and wine selection
The beds are Shockley uncomfortable my back and hips aches all night even my young children said beds where hard and you could feel hardness if springs… worst nights sleep I’ve had for a long time
Staff where great and very and helpful
