The check in process is very slow and waste of time. Worst mini bar I have ever seen, and without refill. It is close to darling harbor but also closer to a construction site. It’s really extraordinary that I have to contact the reception to get a plug for the bathtub, and the bathtub seems to be quite aged. The placement of a table next to the TV is really lack of consideration. I hit my knee on the corner. And given the corner has been slightly damaged, I think I am not the first one to get hurt there. Anyway, overall, it’s quite an unsatisfactory experience. This is my first time at Novotel and probably the last time.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were ok, bathrooms could have been cleaner and were abit off putting. Tvs didn’t have streaming services and internet was expensive so just stuck to mobile hotspot. Saying all that it was close to everything and I would stay there again.

Nice hotel a bit further from Circle Quay but easy pedestrian bridge across Darling Harbour. Happy hour at the bar on main level and fireworks to be seen Saturday nights from cocktail bar were both highlights.

10/10 for location. Perfectly located in Darling Harbour. Even though there is construction of a shopping complex in front of the hotel it doesn’t detract. Breakfast is good, although could change it up a bit for longer stays. Beds very comfy - only thing we really didn’t like was having a shower over the bath. Booking an executive room with 2 double beds and harbour views we expected a walk in shower.
