Check in was very good and staff extremely helpful and friendly. The rooms exceeded expectations. The views were amazing. We didn't use the laundry, but having a washing machine and dryer in the room was great. The room was more like a 1 bedroom apartment. The kitchen had everything we needed. The pool and spa was lovely and relaxing. The bathroom amenities were excellent. And the staff were always on hand and very willing to help.

My room was a bit old and in need of refurb. After having a cockroach in first room and requesting to move (unfortunately I had already paid), I was given a smaller room 2 floors lower...which felt like extra punishment. Staff are lovely, however when ordered tea and shampoo replacement, they never arrived to ther room. No cafe/breakfast on premises of Meriton, although not a big problem as it's a lively area. There is no daily housekeeping. Location is good and fully furbished kitchen is useful. I find not proper listing this property as 5* when they don't provide bathrobes, slippers... . On the positive note bed was comfy and I had good sleep.

Location is topnotch, provided a great view of the overall Sydney Harbour and Opera House skyline if staying on high floors. Highly accessible via public transportation from SYD airport and CBD. Very close to North Sydney and Victoria Cross train stations (approx 5mins walk) and Milson's point wharf if you want a water taxi ride going to Circular Quay or Barangaroo Wharf. Plenty of supermarket nearby like Coles, IGA and Metro. Endless food options of cafes and restaurants especially during the business hours since it is around a business center. 10mins by foot to Luna Park if travelling with kids. 45mins by train and bus to Bondi Beach. Toiletries, linens and other supplies can be ordered thru an app and it gets delivered to your door after 5-10mins. Washer and Dryer are availble in the unit with laundry soap. My family is very pleased and happy with our stay and will try other Meriton properties next time we are in Australia.
