Handy location for our stay. Easy parking at $10 per night. Quiet room with blockout blind was great. Having a small refrigerator in the room was great. We have stayed here before and would stay again.

The room was clean and tidy as always but the air conditioner has seen better days. It was very noisy and hard to sleep with it on but had to try as the room is very warm and although the windows can be open there is nothing covering the window from things flying in at night. Now that this Hotel has started charging city prices and charging for parking which is ridiculous maybe they can put some money into the place to fix a few things and tidy it up.

The room was clean, the bed was nice and comfy and clean. It’s about what you’d expect for what you’d pay for, if you’re expecting 5 star luxury you pay more but it’s perfect to be used as a base almost for travelling

ROOMS: This is a budget hotel so don't expect anything fancy, and it is reasonably tired. Rooms are basically the size of the bed plus a metre or so. No wardrobe or cupboards so you live out of your suitcase on the floor. Small fridge and tea/coffee making area. No hairdyer or iron but there is a guest laundry with an iron if you need one. Airconditioner much appreciated. Shower ok - bodywash provided, no shampoo etc. BREAKFAST: Breakfast was included with our booking. There was cereal, toast, muffins and pancakes (if the machine is working - only worked for half the days we were there), instant coffee/tea/ juice. By no means gourmet, but better than having to pay for breakfast out every day. LOCATION: Right next door to McDonalds and KFC and then a 10 minute walk to other shops and train station. About a 10-15 minute drive from airport. OVERALL: We chose it as it was close to our son's apartment. We were hardly there during the day so all we wanted was a bed at a reasonable price.

This hotel was very affordable for a hotel so close to the Sydney CBD, and easily reached by walking. It was only 11 minutes walk to the St Peter’s station, and this station is only 3 stops from Central station. One of the main short comings is that like other Ibis Budget hotels, the bathroom is quite small. But I don’t think that this matters too much, as usually not a lot of time is sent in the bathroom. Another short coming that needs to be mentioned is that this location is not quite! As the hotel is close to Sydney airport, there is frequently noise from aircraft, and at times planes pass overhead. This did not disturb me, but might be annoying for some people. Anyone intending to stay at this hotel needs to be aware of this! However noise from aircraft did not impact on sleeping, as Sydney airport has a night curfew and flights in and out of the airport cease at 11 pm. Therefore it is possible to have a peaceful nights sleep. In short, this hotel provides good affordable budget accomodation close to the city, provided one is not too disturbed about noise.

I had traveled all day and I was tired. I have a knee injury and was hoping for a room on the first floor. I arrived late but then the staff came and he was just wonderful. He told me he gave me a room on the first floor and lo and behold, he gave me a handicapped room which worked really well for me. Thankful for the great service.
