Beach view is fab. Nice bedroom, great bathrooms great balcony. But it’s incredibly noisy; from early in the morning until around 1am every night. It feels like there’s no sound proofing and you hear everything below you and beyond your room door. Definitely not suitable for light sleepers!

Right opposite Manly beach, a tradtional 2 storey hotel. Rooms are quite small but clean and well furnished. There are several bars that serve until late including a rooftop one with great views over the beach. Breakfast is a single choice off a set menu but it was great quality. Unlimited tea and coffee was available. Great location at a good price would stay again

Super loud party hotel. Our room was on the first floor between a LOUD disco on top and a LOUD pub with a DJ on the bottom floor (btw, no soundproofing in this historic hotel). Might be okay to stay here if one is hanging out in the disco until early morning, but it's miserable trying to sleep in the 'hotel' rooms. Plus, ongoing construction cut electricity to our room ("workers left early on a Friday, can't be fixed until Monday"). On the plus side, room rates here are the lowest in Manly Beach and we loved our view.
