An affordable hotel in Sydney, which I think is one of the most expensive city in the world, but it is not located far away, metro station is just in a walking distance, about 15 minutes you can travel to every attractions in the city centre. The hotel is located in a quite area in King Cross, the small balcony is very relax for having breakfast in the morning. Downside is the property is a bit old and dirty, but it is within the accepted level.

Can highly recommend right in the heart of Kings Cross and Potts Point – close to all the area has to offer. Stayed in a double balcony room which was perfect and enjoyable. Five out of five stars and a great place to stay while in Sydney.

A hidden treasure tucked away on a quiet, safe street. The room was beautifully appointed. Close and convenient to cafes, restaurants and public transport. I think I've found my business home away from home.

Nice hotel located a great area. Close to lots of shops, restaurants, public transport and just a few stops from the city. Very comfortable stay, bed is soft and comfortable. Checkin in was super easy and uses codes which I really liked. staff are always available if you need anything. I would definitely stay again.

Had a great stay. After an initial hiccough with the booking system not sending us a code, everything was smooth. Great location, clean and comfy room. Shared bathrooms were clean and having two on the level meant there was always at least 1 available. Would definitely return!

The room was really clean, comfortable and spacious. Excellent value for money. The shared bathroom was tiny but very clean and easy to access. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and it’s an easy 30 min walk into town. Parking can be tricky because there is no onsite parking and street parking is limited to 2 hrs during the day. We were lucky enough to snag a park right out front for overnight which is unlimited. The check-in process is easy but you have to do it all online. There’s no check-in facility at the property. Support is a phone call away though and they responded really quickly. Overall I would definitely recommend this property for a budget stay in Sydney.

Great hotel in a central location

Great location, on a calm street yet 5 min walk from the train station and main road. Rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Cleaning staff came by regularly and reception staff was very friendly and accommodating. Just a small thing to note, there is no lift. Would definitely stay here again!

Very charming and convenient hotel not far from the action in Sydney, with a room that had all the facilities you needed for a short stay. There was a little mix-up with room key codes towards the end of the stay, but this was resolved very quickly!

We loved everything about our stay. The room was so cosy but still big enough. The decoration was beautiful with 3windows in the room. Shared bathroom was fine if you are not in a hurry. The wonderful French lady at the reception was sufficient and super nice. We were very lucky and got a parking right outside the hotel

We love the stay at the lodge. Room is big enough to accommodate family of four. Not really a fan of shared bathroom but it’s acceptable. The only issue was the noise from the wall or ceiling. Not sure what kind of creature it is.

Very good, appreciate being able to find reasonable cost accommodation with all I needed. Only complaint would be a very narrow bathroom. Had I been any taller (and I'm less than average height) I would not have been able to sit on the toilet! Otherwise very satisfied thankyou.

Staff were very friendly and accomodating. One minor point was that our room was quite hot and stuffy due to lack of airconditioning. However, staff did their best to bring in extra fans to try to mitigate this.

Hotel worst than a hostel...

They need to get their act together. Its run like a hostel but charged like a hotel. The managers try to be polite but come across blunt & rude. The bathrooms are shared between two rooms like in a hostel. The property is only two floors so no elevator & you have to lug your bags up the steep flight of stairs. There is no receptionist. Like a lot of other reviews even we were not received on the day we arrived but instead were told to check ourselves in with the help of a locker with keys in it. The bathroom was dirty when we arrived & when I told them about it they insisted that it was cleaned like I was lying? why would I do that?
