Very Quiet hotel in nice area

Pros: Quiet, nice handy location, excellent staff
Cons: Bathrooms could be updated
Lovely staff who helped us as soon as we asked for anything. Really quiet, Nice pool, comfy bed. The bathroom was a bit tired but clean and well stocked with towels, etc. It’s a 10 minute walk to the Museum Train Station and then only one stop to Circular Quay so easy access to the central city. Great little cafe around the corner for breakfast and lunch and several places just up the road on Oxford Street. We walked to Prince Albert Park 20 mins away, with public swimming pool and kids playgrounds.

Great location, Great Value

The hotel might be on the older side & may need renovating in the near future, but the location of the place & bed comfort were fantastic. Cleaning of the rooms need improving too.

Overall not good experience

Duty manager behavior was not good. After 20 minutes of booking , he said not have any confirmation. When I argue then after few minutes say receive confirmation but not fully so I need to make booking manually take 30 minutes to give room . At midnight waiting so long with children was very much disappointing.

Shower was horrible! Absolutely no water pressure & barley a dribble of water. Hotel staff were lovely especially when we discovered that Expedia stuffed up the booking which was rather embarrassing when I was trying to charged a couple of thousand dollars!

Fan day

Pros: It is mid range in distance to all the local Sydney venues both tourist oriented and footy fan the hotel staff are tremendous happy and vibrant
Cons: The outside lane way little Campbell st has a constant flow of water in the gutter can be bit slippery on the up hill ramp
Location: It’s mid range in distance to all the great Sydney venues and easy to get around plenty of everything everywhere
We are avid swans fans and have stayed at Abey and Cambridge on a number of occasions the staff and hotel are just wonderful they are always trying to make our stay a great one and yet again they have won us over

Nice room, good location

Great spot, nice room walking distance to everything. Clean tidy cosy room. On Checkout staff were rude however, which was a surprise because Check In staff were absolutely amazing.

Nice hotel right in the middle of the action

We were looking for something clean and comfortable right near Darlinghurst but also needed some affordable. We will return here every time. In addition to ticking all of our main criteria, the staff were friendly and helpful.
