My wife and I used this as a one night stop over as part of a leisure trip. We were very happy with our choice. Hotel ( which has great spa facilities ) is a mile or so from village which has a few eating and drinking options if not wanting to eat at hotel. Staff excellent . Clean. Many thanks

All members of staff were very friendly and helpfull and courteous. The rooms were very very clean and tidy. The food was excellent. The car park area is as close as possible to the buildings. We WILL be going back to the Cricklade House Hotel with friends.

A hotel with character. The rooms while older have everything you need except air conditioning for summer. A lovely pool with sauna and steam room. A very comfortable bar area. Reasonable prices for dinner and an excellent breakfast with good service. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely beautiful views from our window. Bed was best bed I have slept in, in a hotel for years. Spa was okay need more beds around the pool. Amazing back massage but only 20 mins for £55. Would recommend and would return for another visit.

This hotel is a little remote but that adds to the charm. The staff were friendly and treated us well. The room was spacious, a little cool but well designed. There was a microwave and small air fryer and fridge in the room, however no utensils other than disposable bamboo plates and wooden cutlery, it wasn’t used but could be helpful to know. The breakfast was very good, fruit, cereals, pastries and cooked breakfast as well. The resident cat Doris is a gentle and friendly little old lady aged 19, she is a star member of staff

Christmas Party Stay

We stayed overnight for a Christmas Party night with a group of friends. We didn't get a chance to use the Spa, but everything else was first class. The food was excellent and the service was great. The room was very nicely appointed and the bed really comfortable. All in all a great stay. I would recommend it. PS I can't up load a photo

It isn’t a Best Western! Golf course had not had a green keeper on it for some time, so unplayable. Service was earnest, and the food selection for dinner and breakfast was great. Rooms were small, with a double bed. Bathroom was tiny. Heating was inconsistent in the room!

The room felt a bit dated, and although the carpets were stained, the bed was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, the swimming pool lacked loungers unless you were getting a treatment, and the water was on the chilly side. Additionally, many staff members seemed unenthusiastic and were quite blunt when interacting with guests. Breakfast lacked variety and where food ran low it took a while to get restocked.

Nice stay will a couple of small issues

Nice comfortable hotel. However the heating was on full in the rooms and restaurant which made it a little uncomfortable for myself. The service received was very good even though they had a wedding on. My biggest complaint was the price of drinks. £8 for a pint and £15 for a double gin. Breakfast in the morning was very good and the spa facilities are very clean. Had to dispute the bill on checkout as I had pre paid and was charged again on check out.

Nice hotel and the customer service from staff was wonderful. Room was okay and did the job. No kettle and a bit stuffy in the heat but we still had a good nights sleep. The main door to enter the room needs to have a handle on the other side so that you can actually get out of the room! We stayed in room 20 and found it difficult to get a good grip to open the door by the latch each time. Disabled parking could be better as well. Only 2 spaces and they seem to be exactly the same size as nornal parking spaces.
