We absolutely loved Piermont. From the pre arrival communications, to the greetings when we arrived and to the beautiful well equipped cottage. We had an excellent dinner in the restaurant and made great use of the bikes and kayaks! I didn’t want to leave !!!

The view from our room was absolutely stunning. I’ve never had something quite like it. With the olive trees giving privacy and the open ocean just there. It was spectacular. Everyone who worked there was so nice - at the restaurant as well. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We stayed 3 nights in Seaview Cottage. I'm going to be a little more picky with this review because this is a luxury property, not a budget property. I had high expectations of this property, and the views did not disappoint, but overall, this was not our most comfortable and easy stay. Pros: Quiet and private, excellent staff, stunningly beautiful grounds and views, appliances in cottage were all in working order, good WiFi. Cons: isolated (car is a must have), limited options for food on site, the gravel driveway is long, with potholes and washboarding, low water pressure and super sensitive hot and cold knobs made it hard to get the right temperature in the shower, no A/C in cottage, no fans either, pillows did not agree with my neck, and...BUGS! Had to clean up at least 20 millipedes and beetles, and some spiders, on a daily basis. Having to dodge millipedes to prevent stepping on them does not feel luxurious.

Wonderful staff - began with a lovely SMS sharing that our room would be ready early, to courteous and helpful staff at checkin, to a beautiful room. Had “feed me” dinner in the Homestead restaurant, walked there along the beach. Fantastic food. Room was lovely - beautiful fabrics, attention to detail on small things, but pared back and low key so the view and the sounds of the water can do their thing. Spa bath was a treat, with the floor heating making it just that little bit more lovely. And I really like the deck furniture - 2x outdoor chairs and an understated log to put your coffee on as you gaze at the view in the morning sun. Nothing else needed.

Our water front cottage was exactly as described. Fireplace was a real luxury to have included it was all set up ready to go and there was lots of firewood included. Loved that they included extra towels than the standard 2. Only negative would be to maybe include a few extra items in the kitchen like paper towel ,a flat tray for the oven, as you provide cooking facilities. But that negative is very minor when comparing it to what was on offer. Absolutely loved our stay was everything we wanted. Will definitely be recommending to all our family and friends that may visit Tassie.

Overall, the property is beautiful, right on the water and the rooms are spacious and bright. They also include breakfast provisions for the first night, which were very nice. I did feel that it was overpriced - for $300+ dollars per night, I would hope they would fix basic things such as the rods to close the blinds, as well as have a closer attention to detail - ex. there were leaves in the bathroom, a bug stuck on to the blanket, etc. I understand that we are in nature and some of these things may happen over the course of the stay, but when I walk into this, I sometimes wonder how well cleaned the room actually was. Also, note that the restaurant is closed on Sun and Mon for dinner.

A wonderful place for an anniversary getaway. A very comfortable and spacious cottage equipped with everything we needed. The private sandy beach overlooking the bay where dolphins played provided perfect relaxation. Highly recommended.

Piermont retreat is a beautiful property conveniently situated about 7 minutes from Swansea town. It is a beautifully kept property with breathtaking views. Staff are incredibly lovely and very helpful and the food and wine at the Homestead restaurant was amazing. Highly recommend hiring a car so that you are able to travel around to other areas like Freycinet and Bicheno. Highly recommend, would definitely go back!
