Overall very happy with our stay. Staff were excellent, friendly and apologetic for the below reasons. Mumbles is the perfect ate way for the Gower Peninsula. Lift not working which should have been mentioned on booking. No room service on our stay. Parking is expensive all around but it should be made clear that booking by app rather than card/cash allows you twice the amount of time. Limited free parking on street.

Fabulous hotel.

We were greeted by a charming guy called Alex. He was so friendly and welcoming. He did his very best to give us a room with a sea view, even though we’d not originally requested one. Rooms are comfortable, bed was comfy and we slept well. The hotel is near all amenities and wonderful walks around Mumbles and the pier. We’ll definitely stay here again.

One of our favourite places we have stayed. Hotel was beautiful, location was fantastic and the views from the room were amazing! The bed is one of the most comfortable beds we’ve slept in. The staff were very attentive. We had breakfast on the outside terrace and that was delicious. We use to live in swansea so we knew parking on the road up by verdis is free so we parked there and walked down (parking by the hotel is pricey). Had the best stay! Highly recommend

We stayed at Oyster House when it first opened. Returned for this stay and it is still such a fabulous hotel. Great facilties, clean, superb comfortable bed, amazing shower and a quality HD TV. Superb location right in heart of Mumbles and amazing staff.

This property is update, well thought out and staff could not be better. From check in to support (I accidentally threw my keys in with the trash) staff went out of their way to help. The room is simple yet with all the feel of an upscale boutique hotel. I will stay at oyster house again, happily.

We were very happy with our accomadation, the room, food and staff were excellent, and the location was close to shops etc. I only have one complaint, we arrived by car and to find there was no hotel parking, and the off street parking was miles away as it was a lovely warm sunny day the town was very busy.

Fantastic location, quality staff, dining and accommodation - high standards & quality. Rooms at the rear on the roadside - noise from traffic & people out late/early hours, so if you're a light sleeper may experience an unsettled night! Maybe sea view rooms are quieter.

Really comfortable but needs better communication

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and very comfortable. The hotel is close to places to visit and eat. The bathroom was great. The sheep was an added benefit, which we really liked. The only issue we had was the communication. I think the hotel just needs someone to actually look at messages and emails, the hotel communication just gets lost at the bar.

Comfortable stay

Enjoyed our stay at Oyster House only criticism is you have to go through bar / restaurant to check in and check out there is no reception area and the staff try and do this on a little laptop. But once in room all good the bed was so comfortable. We would recommend

A lovely hotel in The Mumbles

A lovely small hotel located just off a pedestrianised area on The Mumbles. The hotel itself was beautifully furnished and maintained to a very good standard. The hotel room was modern and had everything you needed for a stay. Staff were very helpful and the restaurant looked fabulous but it wasn’t serving food the night we were there, which was a shame. There were plenty of food places nearby though. The only downside, and totally out of the hotels control, was the cost of parking. The hotel has no parking for guests but there is a pay and display a short walk away which is quite pricey for a nights stay. We paid £22 for a nights parking.

A brand new beautiful hotel right in the heart of Mumbles. Check in with the very helpful and friendly manager. Room so perfect, clean and luxurious. Huge comfortable bed and fabulous shower. Milk and bottle water in fridge. Also a coffee machine or instant coffee, tea and hot chocolate. On a busy main road but so quiet due to double glazing. It has a restaurant on site but we only had a few craft beers and cocktails with views of the sea. Would definitely stay again. A first class hotel.
