A lovely family run business,I was made to feel very welcome and nothing was too much for the hosts. They went above and beyond. Lovely room ,bathroom with very nice shower gel,shampoo and cream. Everywhere was extremely clean and the breakfast was cooked fresh and arrived quickly.Only a few minute walk to beach. Would definitely recommend this guest house.

The Rookery was superb. Friendly welcome, lovely room, comfortable bed, all spotlessly clean and attractively decorated, and well-cooked breakfast with lots of options (the black pudding especially recommended!). Top class - we intend to go back.

Lovely mini-break

Perfect base from which to explore Swanage and the surrounding area. Two-minute walk to the beach, and a short stroll along the seafront to the shops etc. Alan is a very friendly host, our room was lovely and breakfast was delicious. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Traditional with bay windows yet modern ring door bell, and porch chairs to sit and chill on. VERY spacious inside. Good sized room with traditional sash windows and smart TV, modern ensuite.
