“My second stay here and it surpassed the high bar set by my previous stay. Got checked in by the manager who had just started there. I got a really nice room with a very high finish in décor which instantly put me in a relaxed mood. After finishing my admin, I went on the same 1 hour walk using the same route which takes me through the town centre. It is such a lovely town to walk around. We appreciated the teapot in the room and selection of teas, also the complimentary flapjack. We ate in the restaurant area of the inn and had an excellent meal. ”

“Quiet and well appointed room. Great breakfast.”

“Room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Comfortable bed. Bar staff were very friendly and welcoming. We were very grateful for the late night/early morning access route for when the pub is closed. The room was looking a bit tired, particularly the bathroom. There were knocks in the walls that needed filling, the bag that had a bathmat in looked stained, there were toothpaste splatter marks on the wall, and there were cobwebs around the window.
