The Hansa is in a great location, close to my favourite bars and restaurants in Swakopund. Although a bit dated the hotel is well maintained, clean and has a charming atmosphere. The staff are all very professional and courteous; it was also a nice bonus to find a room service menu in the room... the calamari was great btw.

We stayed two nights here. The location is excellent in the middle of the town and easily walkable to restaurants and the sea. It has parking on site. The hotel is great- old and lots of old photos on the corridor walls. The rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast was good. We did not eat in the evening there.

I felt like I was in a real hotel. I was treated with great respect by all the staff. When I needed assistance with phone calls or parking or ice or milk or anything, they immediately helped me they even posted my mail. The front desk people are superb.
