We loved our stay at Sunshine! It was isolated compared to downtown Banff, but a close enough distance so we could come into town and enjoy the shops and restaurants! Staff were very helpful and kind, we never had a bad encounter! Our room was always well maintained and we loved the hiking trails! We’ll definitely be back!

It was a wonderful place for us to stay for a couple of days. The views were gorgeous ans breathtaking. We thoroughly enjoyed our hikes as well as outdoor spa during the day, and had a great time celebrating Canada Day. It was a memorable stay, and we would happily return in tge future.

Beautiful location with acres of hiking trails. Gondola ride up to lodge was fantastic. Room was clean, staff were amazingly helpful, and restaurants had a great ambiance. We had brunch but it was more of a continental style. Is a destination and not a casual drive-in location. Would definitely stay again.

Great location for ski in-ski out at Sunshine. We had a fantastic stay for summer skiing! The after hours shuttle to and from the base was very useful. We also loved the large hot tub and nightly S’Mores. The staff were universally friendly and helpful. Wonderful stay.

The location was amazing, the gondola and the lift chair to mount Standish (which is an amazing hiking place) are free, included in the price. Excellent service and very helpful staff. The rooms are a bit crowded, not enough room to put your clothes or things, the toiletries are not the best quality (smell good but leave your skin dry), the hot tub was clean and very nice. They don't let you go around the property, to walk the surroundings, which was a bit weird. The main restaurant had very good food but the service not the best. Overall, a bit expensive but because of the location, worth it. Would visit again and recommend.

The rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Can’t beat the views, and riding up the gondola to the hotel area was a highlight of our stay. Wonderful experience with the hotel and its location and staff. Only caution to those who are planning a stay, be mindful of the hours of operation for the gondola and shuttle buses. Gondolas run 8-5 in the summer, but shuttles run 5-11 pm. When going off the hotel area and hiking or exploring Banff, keep the hours in mind! The only minor quibble I would have had was the fact that the rooms didn’t have much by way of AC, but provided fans when needed. At the altitude, not needed often, but good to know on the hot days! Would highly recommend!

Great staff, awesome room, can’t beat the view! We didn’t ski but the runs were well maintained and we loved all that this hotel had to offer. Temp control could have been a bit better but we figured it out with the fresh air from the window. Great in house restaurants and neat little bar. We will be back for sure! Also great shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and skin cream. Wish they’d sell it but front desk gave us a care package when we enquired about it. Awesome place!

It was a great stay for my family. What an experience for us. Super clean and friendly staff. Only issue we had was at check in and check out. Not the staffs fault but computer issues and needing to address reservations better for 3 parties like Expedia for instance. My stay was paid in full and the front desk had a hard time seeing that. Besides that it was great.

I did enjoy the stay only 2 complaints, 1. The shuttle,if you arrive after the gondola stops operating for the day 6PM, you need to take the shuttle to the top our wait on the shuttle was 1.5 hrs. Also no organization as to first come first serve on shuttle so we had people cutting in front of us. 2. The mattress quality was not on par with a room at this expense, more in line with a motel 6. 3. Breakfast buffet was barely ok I think I should of ordered off the menu. What I did like was a unique experience, hiking the top of the mountain, the hot tub was nice.
