Recommend for two night stay due to late check-in otherwise can’t really take advantage of amazing amenities. Our stay was negatively impacted with room not being ready for another hour after 3pm which is brutal with two kids but apart from that - venue and facilities look impressive

Avani is a lovely new hotel close to the beach & cafes. The issue is when you are there over the weekend, which was our case. On the Saturday we thought it would be nice to go for a swim & have a quiet drink in the restaurant on the top level. When we arrived we couldn't even get a seat. It wasnt until we checked out that we were told that the restaurant was operated by a different company & they had booked other parties in on the weekend. As paying guests, we should have been advised of this, that the restaurant is run independently from the hotel which means you do not always have access to this facility.

The rooms are luxurious,but yet relaxed. The staff are always on the lookout,for there guests. Greeting with polite and well mannered. Once all the kinks are sorted..like any new establishment wow wow. Do yourself a favour and go to the rooftop bar,and indulge in everything. 👏 We will be back.

Sadly as a new hotel they are still learning, staff were fabulous, no fault with any of them, the amenities were definitely not to our liking, Glass doors on both shower & toilet was a bit overwhelming for an older couple, there was no privacy, the younger generation might have a bit of fun with it. The rooftop bar, fantastic, but, but there should an area the hotel guests use exclusively, at least till a certain time, as I said it's very new & they will probably improve with time.

Great location, modern rooms, clean. If staying with teenage kids or someone that's not your partner the bathroom design is open with glass doors. The rooftop restaurant had great views although regardless if you are staying at Avani or not Friday and Saturday nights were absolutely full of young ones and couldn't find a spot for a drink , there is another option ground level although was empty on the 3 weeks we stayed.

Brand new hotel with a nice ambience. However not a fan of open plan hotel room as in no door or wall for the bathroom. The shower cubicle and the toilet cubicle each have a frosted glass door but that’s all. The “wardrobe” is open area hanging rack. The roof top pool is nice but woefully small area for the size of the hotel. Bar area on level 12 is really nice. Watermelon and goats cheese salad is excellent.

Very very disappointed. We had booked one of the more expensive top floor rooms for our wedding anniversary. We live locally but thought we would make a night of it, check out the hotel, have drinks and a meal on the rooftop etc. I had paid the extra for a late cancellation. My husband is in remission from stage 4 lung cancer (not to be fair they knew that) and very unexpectedly the afternoon we were meant to check in he felt unwell and ended up overnight on ICU. I called the hotel to let them know we weren’t coming and to see if we could get a refund or a change of date or something to help. I was directed to hotels.com because that was who we booked through and they advised the hotel was not prepared to do anything. I was able to provide a medical certificate if needed. It’s a new hotel, it was a wet Tuesday in a no -holiday period - I don’t think they would have been booked out. Any sort of help - say us paying half next time - would have been nice. I appreciate we fell outside of the rules but a little leeway would have been appreciated. We won’t be bothering to book again - there are plenty of places at the coast we can choose instead.

Lovely hotel; however, it was anything but quiet. The local pub down the street kicked on until 2-3am, and the window glazing is paper-thin (Ocean Suite). So much for the advertised 'soundproof room'. Amenities and location were great, but I would not recommend it for a good night's sleep.
