Vacations Close To Sunset Drive Beach

I definitely don’t want anyone mislead like I was, but this property says it’s a resort, but looks, smell, and functions more like a motel. The rooms were dark and once you cut on the light you realize why, because the room was dusty. The bathroom had stains. They called themselves upgrading my room, but they actually downgraded my room. The breakfast was not worth the high price, because it was disgusting. If you like to sleep beware of the roosters, because they make it difficult to sleep. I will not ever want to step foot on this property again.

It was a great place to stay! We came off the ferry from Ft Myers and walked the boardwalk directly to our hotel. About a 5 minute walk. Great location. Hotel was very well kept. Rooms were very nice and clean. Pool and amenities were superb. Less than a 10 minute walk to Duvall street, and maybe 15 minutes to Mallory Square. Plenty of good restaurants near by with good happy hours. My only downfall was that we booked a king bed and were given a room with 2 queen beds. We did work that out with staff, so all good. Walls are a bit thin though. We spent 3 nights there and OMG we had a someone that snored so loud that it literally woke me up every night! That might be a good question to ask people when they check in. Do you snore!!!! Maybe put them together! lol. This was our first time at the Marker Resort and we would definitely recommend it and would go back!!!

Clean, clean, clean. Hidden! Elite Backyard Oasis. Top Tier bar and fantastic nightly entertainment. If your traveling with anyone under 25, choose different. Will be back, no doubt!

We loved this motel. The pool area is secluded and private. The staff are amazing. The room was so nice. We will be back.

Parking is not included in the price and is $40/night and must be done through an App where there is an additional service fee - with tax it was $44.87 for the night. Along with the $69.75 resort fee (which is listed on the receipt as due at the property), the overall rate for the room was not as reasonable as initially thought when booked. The staff was friendly although they never mentioned the parking fee, I had to inquire to ensure it was for paying guests. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable, only minor issue was the low water pressure in the shower. The grounds are well maintained although the beach attendant was not around, so I helped myself to towels, lounge chairs and opened the umbrella.

Check-in was super easy. The location was excellent. I got Lucky and was able to find parking nearby, but having the option to purchase a parking spot is super helpful. The room was small, but I didn’t spend much time there, so it didn’t really matter. The property owners did everything possible to make that small room everything I needed. The shower is very small. I’m short, so it didn’t bother me. But if you are big and tall, I would consider another room or another hotel. Thank you I would definitely book a room here again if I’m ever in Key West.
