Excellent hotel with a great gym

I stayed to break a long car journey into two parts. One good thing about the location is that there are EV chargers just in front of the hotel. The room was very basic, but it provided all what is needed (small desk to work at, kettle and mugs, ...). Overall the room and bathroom were clean and in good condition. The bed was very comfy. I noticed only one broken thing: the mechanism to prevent the window to fully open. Overall, I had a good relaxing night. In addition, I used the gym to exercise after sitting the whole day. I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the equipment: while a bit old, it is the same brands that one finds in professional gyms (not the cheap stuff one buys for home use). I had a really good workout. There is also a small sauna. Breakfast was really good, lots of choice: veggies, fruits, cold cuts, cheese, cereals, warm food, rolls, cake, dairy, jams, really something for everyone. I will definitely stay here again.

Familjerumm 221 överensstämde inte med foton.

I verkligheten var Familjerummet avsevärt mindre än vad man kunde tro från Hotels.coms foto. Visst använder man vidvinkel och liknande men här gäller det rummets planering. På fotot fanns det en våningssäng samt två fåtöljer, förutom dubbellsängen, men i verkligheten hade våningssängen ersatts av en bäddsoffa vilken lämnade väldigt lite plats i rummet i övrigt.

Fine store rom med god plass. Godt utvalg til frokosten. Men mye bråk om du har rom ut mot gata. Også missvisende priser på nettsiden deres når man har kjæledyr med, noe hotellet ikke er enige i når man tar det opp med dem.

Et koselig, sjarmerende hotell med sentral beliggenhet. Hyggelig personale, oppleves som en arbeidsplass som involverer sine ansatte i drifta. På frokostmenyen finner du utvalgte ansatte sine retter, og det er små bilder av den ansatte og navnet på retten. Det ha et fint, personlig preg som jeg ikke har sett andre steder. Frokosten og den gode atmosfæren er årsaken til at vi valgte nettopp dette hotellet når vi skulle overnatte to ganger i Sundsvall med 3 uker i mellom. Det er også et meget bra og velutstyrt treningsrom med badstue og relax-område. I tillegg er det praktisk med parkering i nærheten.

Rummet vi fick va med trappa där alla går förbi lyhörd, skrik och mycket prat oljud .. rummet kändes klaustrofobiskt och inte mysig alls ..va ett fönster där man såg rakt i byggnad. Helheten instängd ,trångt och hård säng. Utöver hotell rummet var personalen så otrolig trevliga och snälla. Wow vilken frukost så otroligt gott äta och mycket att välja på. Väldigt vacker och Fin inredning i lobby området.

Fick ett bra intryck vid incheckning, trevlig och ambitiös kille (ny på jobbet). Rummet var verkligen pyttelitet och sängen var sådär, varje gång mannen rörde på sig så gungade hela sängen som om jag befann mig i en båt i hög sjö och det kom väldigt mycket ljud utifrån (förvisso lördagkväll). Frukosten däremot får 10 poäng av 10 möjliga! Mycket bra utbud och mysig miljö, kändes lyxigt.

I really like this hotel. I have stayed there a half a dozen times. Good location. Very clean. Quirky layout because the building is over 100 years old but I like the rooms, the apartment rooms are spacious, the views of the bay are beautiful. The breakfast is excellent, great healthy choices. Normally there is public parking in front of the hotel.

Vi är återkommande gäster men denna gång fick vi möjligheten att bo i en av lägenheterna högst upp. Det var så fint! Branta trappor men så häftigt med ett hotell som erbjuder takvåning. Samma goda frukost som vanligt! Vi kommer igen!
