nice budget friendly motel. nice room, lots of tv channels with a nice 50 in tv. no real concession area but close to others just down the road. best of all it was clean and smoke free. nice man at the check-in desk. i would stay here again.
This is an older property but the room was fixed up pretty well, bed was comfortable, things were clean. Nothing fancy here but was an OK budget priced overnight stay.
A nice quiet stay in a small town. The owner was on site and very friendly and helpful when we had a question about the tv settings. He made coffee and was also pleasant to talk to.
I was regretting my decision to book this room when I saw the outside of the motel. It is quite old. I was relieved when the room was nice and comfortable and clean. The walls had been painted, the t.v. was nice and there was a fridge with freezer and a microwave. The shower was warm and with decent pressure. Beds were fine.
Quiet and Friendly. Had an issue with privacy door hanger being on the door and housekeeping coming in anyway. Spoke to owners and it was taken care of immediately.
Room was clean and comfortable if old. The AC stopped working about 12 am, and then I was up fiddling with it every hour and a half to try to get it going. Manager was upset as he said he replaced all the units just last year. Wondered why I didn't contact him. (to move us? to send a repair man at midnight? Don't think so-but the sentiment was nice. Whether or not the concern was genuine). No ice machine. No coffee. And really out of our way for a "meh" experience. Would not be likely to stay again.
The folks who run the motel have always been helpful and pleasant. The back side of the motel is very close to the property line but there is room to park, but there's nothing scenic about it----and I'm not looking for scenery anyway.
One thing i wish could be done: One must driver over a street curb to get onto the property and off of it. A cut in the curb for a smooth entrance and exit would be appreciated.
Otherwise, the most recent stay---as has always been the case---was good.
The check in area is a bit sketchy, the older Indian gentleman checks you in from behind a plexiglass panel and you slide your ID through a little slot at the bottom! He didn’t say much but he soon exchanged my payment for his room key. The rooms are dated but clean, and they were painting the outside of the hotel while I was staying.
It’s the best hotel in this town! (The only hotel in this town!)
