Reasonable for a night

Property was very nice, courtyard was gorgeous. Room wasn’t anything too special but beds were really comfy. Bathroom could use a renovation.

Terrible. It’s quite different from what we have seen in the booking. It’s a big and old hotel, no guest staying at this hotel, only the big event that required a lots of spaces. Would recommend to consider another hotel if you have choice. Unsafe and awful environment. Hotel restaurant are closed, swimming pool full of dry leaves.

L’hôtel est fantôme (même pendant loy krathong), quasiment jamais personne à la réception, accueil presque inexistant. L’ascenseur fait peur et à une odeur de renfermé, pareil pour les chambres qui sont un peu vieillottes mais qui pour une nuit conviennent très bien, les lits sont confortables. Loin du centre si vous voulez visiter la ville vous allez payer plus cher de taxis ou tuk tuk que d’hôtel.

mejor Reserva otro.

Hotel viejo y descuidado. Lo único medio aceptable el Hall y el desayuno, considerando que la cocinera Que freía los huevos no paraba de toser Sobre ellos. No hablan inglés. Ascensor roto probablemente por un incendio del cual aún se ven los desperfectos en la fachada exterior. En un principio pedimos habitación de cama individual la cual costaba más que las dobles y nos dieron una de dos camas al reclamar nos cambiaron pero nos pusieron en una zona que daba a un fuente en desuso que tenía restos de agua por lo que era un nido de mosquitos. Fue el único sitio de todo el país donde hemos visto cucarachas y no para comer. Baño sucio, toallas viejas, sabanas muy desgastadas y manchas en el techo de dificil explicación. Fue el único disponible que había, y no repetiria. Recomendación de pareja mochilera, llevar guantes de latex, desinfectante y nanas para uso personal, porque el hotel no hay quien lo arregle.

Le choix d'etablissement est tres limité

Beau bâtiment datant des années 70 ,belle chambre demander coté campagne , belle piscine, repas convenables à prix modestes , bon pt. déj. un ascenseur sur deux fonctionne , il est dans un état déplorable , les salles de bain nécessites une réfection totale mais tout est très propre. La wifi est limitée au lobby

Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Onaardig personeel zonder enige lach. Echt niet Thais. Er stonden maximaal 2 auto's op de parkeerplaats waarvan een van mij. Ik vermoed dat er maar 2 of drie kamers bezet waren van dit grote hotel. Aan de buitenkant zag het er wel redelijk luxe uit. Ik denk dat het personeel ook ontevreden was.

Pailyn Sukhothai

The Pailyn Sukhothai is a grand old hotel on the outskirts of the historical city. It is not within walking distance of restaurants or shops so you should have some transportation unless you wish to eat at the hotel. The hotel caters to large tour groups and the first day of my stay, the hotel was almost completely empty. I had to look for the staff in order to check in. That said, once i found them, they were very friendly and accomodating. The description of the hotel is NOT accurate, the WiFi is limited to the hotel. The rooms are large and clean, but the windows cannot be opened. My only complaint about the rooms was a lack of electrical outlets. The pool was a welcome sight after a long hot day sight seeing!

Friendly staff but needs attention

The pillows were like blocks of stone. Far too hard. And why have a pool that's open 24 hours if there is no light in the pool and you can't see to swim after dark.

静かで落ち着くホテル

古いなりに静かで落ち着いたホテルです。田舎の宿泊が楽しめます。あまり細かい事を気にしなければ素敵な旅になります。ロビーにしかWi-Fi環境が無いのが残念ですが、考えようによっては電子機器に振り回されず、穏やかな日常を得る事が出来ます。従業員の皆さんも優しい方ばかりです。中庭に綺麗なプールがあるのが特徴です。周辺にコンビニは無いのでご注意を。歴史公園へはソンテオで行く事が出来るので問題ありません。年々老朽化して行く感は否めないですね。でもそれも味と思えばなんて事はありません。

Treated like Royalty

We arrived late afternoon and the hotel looked very impressive from the outside. We parked directly outside and the porter assisted with our suitcases and delivered them to our room. At check in there is a photograph of the former Prince now King when he stayed in 1991 so we were pleased that Royalty had stopped. The room was large and clean but unfortunately the toilet leaked so we were moved to the Imperial Suite which was fantastic. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast team could not do enough for us, even cooking extra eggs when we arrived after most the other guests had eaten. It is a great location for visiting the Historical Park in Old Sukothai which is amazing. I imagine when the hotel was first opened it was very majestic, it does need some tender loving care and investment but for the price you cannot complain.

ホテルの立地はスコータイの観光名所各地に行くには適当なところにある。２５年目に開業時にはこの地区で最高のホテルであったと思われる。競争のためか　建物メンテが不十分ながら　部屋は快適に保た有れている。ホテルのレストランは程度が悪いが　朝食は問題なし。ホテルの近くには観光客向けの程度の良いレストランがたくさんあり、歩いていく距離ではないが立地もよい。

スコータイ遺跡近く

スコータイ遺跡目的で1泊しました。遺跡の周辺には何軒かのゲストハウスがあるようですが、近くでそれなりの施設を有しているのはここだけではないでしょうか。ホテル前から乗りあいソンテウが拾えて、５～１０分ほどでスコータイ遺跡公園まで行くことが出来ます（２０バーツ）。とは言っても、周りには何もなく、市街地にも遠いのでその辺は目的にあわせて選ばれたほうが良いですね。ホテルのアメニティーなどは備え付けの石鹸やシャンプーなどを見てももう少し綺麗なものにしたほうがと思いますが、そんなこと日本人だけが思うことかも知れません。３つ星ですが、小さなプールもあり（綺麗ですよ）、フロントやその他スタッフの方も皆親切で、良い対応してくれます。この金額では申し分ないくらいのホテルだと思います。
