Das Hotel liegt in einem wunderhübschen Fachwerkstädtchen ziemlich am Ortseingang. Im Ort selbst gibt es (fast) keine Verkehrsschilder, was die Stadt zusätzlich aufwertet. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, selbst ein schönes Fachwerkhaus, mit sehr freundlichem Empfang, ausgesprochen nettem Personal im Restaurant und einer guten Speisenauswahl.

Das Hotelzimmer war sehr ordentlich, das Nasszelle auf aktuellen Stand, die Matratze angenehm hart, d.h. nicht durchgelegen, wie ich es aus vielen anderen Hotels kenne. Stolberg selbst strahlt eine historische Aura aus und ist fotografisch ein Quell an Motiven.

Das Essen und Frühstück waren super, allerdings wirkte das Personal gestresst. Als wir bei der Ankunft nach der Sauna - und Whirlpoolmöglichkeit fragten war die Kommunikation diesbezüglich leider etwas unfreundlich.

Tog en stund att checka in... ligger precis intill två vägar, kan vara störande om man vill sova med fönstret öppet. Maten var ok. Frukosten ok, dock svagt kaffe (som på de flesta ställen).

Unfriendly and don't have the room you booked!

Booked a room. Hotels.com messed up but after the matter was resolved by them it turned out the hotel did not have the room we had booked. Very unhelpful and disinterested staff. Had to find another room at 11pm which was not easy!

Stolberg is lovely

this was a business trip and everyone had a lovely time in Stolberg in their time off. Charming little town. Hotel was good.

Goed hotel voor een weekend Stolberg

Het 3 sterren Duits vakwerkhotel ligt aan het begin van het schitterend dorpje Stolberg, dat geheel opgetrokken is uit Duitse vakwerkhuizen. De kamers in het hotel zijn van binnen gemoderniseerd, het restaurant heeft nog wel de nostalgische uitstraling. Dat Duitse vakwerk heeft misschien ook nadelen, diverse plafons, doorgangen en balken zitten soms op een hoogte waarbij je op je hoofd moet letten als je wat langer bent en het is wat gehoriger. Het personeel was aardig en behulpzaam, goede en snelle service in het restaurant en betaalbare prijzen. Het ontbijt in de ochtend is goed. Het hotel heeft een sauna die tot 21.00 open is, echter dient deze gereserveerd worden, ik heb dit als nadeel ervaren, want je moet op tijd reserveren om een kans te maken. Het reserveren van de sauna zie je nagenoeg niet in Duitse hotels. Als je zakelijk onderweg bent is een bureau op je kamer een vereiste, niet alle kamers hebben dat. Het internet is wat onstabiel, soms valt het volledig weg wat best irritant is als je aan het werk bent.

Old town, wonderfull castle, and nice hotell.

Fantastic old hotell, good and plenty of food. The town was booring, there was nothing to do exept visit the castle. The swimmingpools were closed. The touristcenter did not speak english.

Hartzenerstemning i bindingsværksidyl

Fint gammelt familieejet hotel i udkanten af fantastisk hyggelig by. Gammelt bindindingsværk med de udfordringer det giver, men godt udnyttet. God service og venligt personale. Vi brugte hotellet som base på en lille rundtur i lokalområdet. Et lille minus er placering umiddelbart op af vej - som dog kun blev oplevet som traffikeret i morgenstunden.

Fint nok sted med god morgenmad. Det var meget varmt og da der ingen aircon var måtte vi sove med alle vinduer åbne. Derfor nogen støj fra enkelte biler - men det kunne jo ikke være anderledes i usædvanlig varm sommer.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel.

Der Ort Stollberg ist eine sehr schöne und ruhige Stadt. Das Hotel ist in einen guten Zustand. Parkplatz ist auf der anderen Straßenseite. Wer auf Fachwerkhäuser steht ist hier Gold richtig. Nächte waren ruhig

Wir waren sehr zufrieden

Das Hotel bietet ein sehr gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Alles ist sauber, die Zimmer werden auch an Sonn- und Feiertagen gereinigt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit des gesamten Personals. Zum Hotel gehört ein sehr schönes uriges Restaurant mit einem leckeren Speisenangebot. Wenn es überhaupt etwas zu bemängeln gibt: wir hatten keine Möglichkeit das Wellnessangebot zu nutzen. Die Sauna war immer belegt ( wenn einer reserviert hat lässt man niemanden anders hinnein, es kommen auch Saunagäste von ausserhalb ) und Physiotherapie wird nur an Wochentagen angeboten. Wir können das Hotel bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben drei Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht und haben beim Aufenthalt nichts vermisst. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und gemütlich eingerichtet. Der "Bürgergarten" ist keines der modern und kalt eingerichteten Unterkünfte und das ist auch gut so. Gutbürgerliche Küche paart sich mit gemütlichem und mit der Inneneinrichtung abgestimmten Fachwerk-Ambiente. Möglichkeiten der Entspannung bietet ein hausinterner kleiner Wellnessbereich. Alles prima und die Ausflugsmöglichkeiten des Harzes sind recht schnell zu erreichen.

No Air Condition as shown in Expedia

In general, it's a nice hotel. But, if you expect to find air condition as promised in Expedia.com, you will be disappointed. Really disappointing is the internet. Every 10min you need to fill out the form online again. And it's still very slow. However, this is a place for finding peace and for hiking, not for being connected to the entire world. Then, it shouldn't be offered - air condition and internet - are not really existing.

Super Hotel Im Südharz

Wir waren 4 Tage im Hotel. Das Apartment war schön sauber. Es wurde jeden Tag gereinigt. Wir hatten eine Kochnische für alle fälle.Das Frühstück war super und das Abendessen sehr gut.

Als Zwischenstop auf einer Motorradtour bestens zu empfehlen. Der Parkplatz gegenüber vom Hotel kann kostenlos benutzt werden. Frühstück vom Buffet mit großer Auswahl. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt.

À vrai dire, ce fût une excellente et agréable surprise cette hôtel. Propreté, service, repas, tout était très bien. Une ballade dans le petit village est un must. Je recommande cet endroit. Rapport qualité prix étonnant!

En hyggelig familieferie i smukke omgivelser i vebevaret middelalderby. God og venlig service samt god mad både om morgenen og i restauranten om aftenen.
